Well, you go outside, find some tough looking man, and push him around a bit or tell him you slept with his girlfriend.

Oh, with JJ2? What version do you have? If it's 1.23, you download the server patch and join or start a server.

Adeel Mar 25, 2005 06:30 PM

:lori: i have full version jj2 how do i fight?

Iam Canadian Mar 25, 2005 06:35 PM

Download the server list patch. You'll be able to join internet servers via Jazz 2 itelf. Or you can download a program that allows you to check and connect to servers without opening Jazz,

Radium Mar 25, 2005 07:03 PM

Or use http://www.jazz2online.com/J2Ov2/gip.php , I think.
BTW, admins, that page seems agonizingly hard to find with the new layout. Same with the pictures page.

Newspaz Mar 25, 2005 07:32 PM

Download and run this
http://www.beute.plus.com/jazz2online/j2patch_123r.exe
and one of the files inside this
http://www.jazz2online.com/serverlist/serverpatch.zip

It's only in the top right in big white letters on every single page.

Oh my flying bob! I never noticed that! Oooh, it even turns blue.

the WINNER Mar 26, 2005 12:14 AM

However, the pictures page is a bit hard to find. Newcomers would never guess that the "OTHER" part would have something ubercool like that!!!

Adeel Mar 26, 2005 04:32 AM

when i download it it says it will turn me jj2 in to jj 1.3 or somtin i don't want that!!
i wana fight!

cooba Mar 26, 2005 04:33 AM

You must do that if you want to fight.

Adeel Mar 26, 2005 04:35 AM

change it?
will anything change??
like will the games say like you must have full version or somting??

Newspaz Mar 26, 2005 04:44 AM

If you have version 1.20 (not the shareware version!!) it will upgrade your JJ2 to 1.23. All games are on 1.23. So you have no choice.

cooba Mar 26, 2005 04:45 AM

*sigh* ...just do it, okay? It's harmless.

Adeel Mar 26, 2005 04:47 AM

YOU HAVE TO SAY I INSTEAD OF i.
Btw, you need the new serverpatch, and I saw someone gave the link for it so I guess you have to download that and use the .reg file =O.

I thought you'd know what it is if you had bought the game, as it comes with the full version.

cooba Mar 26, 2005 06:15 AM

I think he's got v1.00g.

Adeel Mar 26, 2005 06:40 AM

i need the link for the patch!!

cooba Mar 26, 2005 06:43 AM

Adeel, run JJ2 and look into the bottom left corner in the menu. Does it say "v1.00g"?

White Rabbit Mar 26, 2005 07:47 AM

Having v1.00g would be rather interesting. If you got enough space, copy and paste your JJ2 folder, so you can have both 1.23 and 1.00g.

The first link is a link to the 1.23 patch. It will upgrade your JJ2 from version 1.20 to 1.23. Run the file, and when done correctly, you will see "1.23" in the bottom left corner of the JJ2 menu when you start JJ2.

Now download the second file Newspaz linked to. This is the serverlist patch. If you live in Europe, run "europe.reg". If you live in America, run "america.reg". If you live somewhere else, just use whatever's closest to you.

Once you've done all that, you should be able to play online.

FQuist Mar 26, 2005 08:51 AM

If he/she has the legal version at all.

Adeel Mar 26, 2005 09:09 AM

ok so to fight one other person i have to have the same adress as them when i type it? or diffrent?? :god:

Lark Mar 26, 2005 09:21 AM

If you have v1.00g you can not play online. Go to EBay and buy the game.

Tubz Mar 26, 2005 09:21 AM

This really sounds like a joke. Anyway, I thought you said your leaving the JCF, R3ptile?

Get everything you need to start playing JJ2 here!

I Have Bout The Game

Lark Mar 26, 2005 09:28 AM

Do what Cooba said - look in the corner of your screen when you're on the main menu. Does it say v1.00g on it?
