Need for help!(about Data.j2d)

When I reboot the computer, I tried to run jazz2.exe
but there is a application error, and said it could not find the library file "Data.j2d"
Can anybody solve the problem for me?
Thx All

Do you have the library file Data.j2d?

LittleFreak May 18, 2005 10:01 AM

If you bought JJ2 legally, reinstalling the game should fix the problem.

If you downloaded it, I can't help you.

Same as littlefreak, if you downloaded it. Try to get it from other players or friends or buy in from the internet.

If you downloaded it, download from another source...

my disks bought years ago, It can't be function normally anymore
so I have to ask for help here
or could some nice people send it to me?

ThunderPX May 19, 2005 03:51 AM

He's probably being truthful here, people. I lost my disc (which is a pain in the (-)(-)(-)) and if you bought the game close to it's release date, like me, then it's probably got scratches and crap on it.

LittleFreak May 19, 2005 06:15 AM

That's another reason why you should take care of your cds. I bought it close to the release date I think, and it still functions fully and normally.

1. Use CD cases.
2. Be careful when, for example, putting a CD into the disc drive instead of just slamming them in.

Follow these rules and you'll be fine. :)

I can send you the file over msn...I guess...

If you can prove that you own the CD, i'd be happy to send you the file.

But my disk is already not function.......

And it is hard to find somewhere to buy it again in Hong Kong now.......

You could try burning all the data on a CD, but I guess that needs some knowledge to be done correctly.

Got mine the day it was released and its till in perfect condition.

I "slam" my discs in and they're fine. It probably has to do with how hard you "slam" it.

Torkell May 23, 2005 01:38 PM

I know people who have lost CDs due to faulty CD drives. There is a reason why drives above 52x are rare - that's pretty near the point where the media disintegrates.

ShadeJackrabbit May 24, 2005 12:59 PM

Actually there was a case where a 60-something x CD-ROM drive melted a disk.
