Who is ur fav Artist?

Hey..just wondering what artist ppl like!

Me Sep 7, 2005 12:19 AM

Bob Clampett!

DoubleGJ Sep 7, 2005 12:51 AM

Stan Sakai (Usagi Yojimbo), Humberto Ramos (Spectacular Spider-Man), Ken Akamatsu (Love Hina) and of course Nick Stadler. :D

Fawriel Sep 7, 2005 01:50 AM

Masashi Kishimoto ( Naruto ), Hayao Miyazaki ( Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke.... ), and whoever that guy's called who made Cowboy Bebop... and while I'm at it, the authors of Full Metal Alchemist and maybe Fruits Basket, too!
( It's so darn hard for me to memorize these Japanese names, it's got to mean something when I do manage. =O )

..but if I have to pick one as an artist, probably Miyazaki. Beats the Grimm brothers or Disney any day.

LittleFreak Sep 7, 2005 01:52 AM

I forgot how he's called.

And that one lady who made Ranma 1/2.

Sun Fun Dude Sep 7, 2005 04:03 AM

John K's OK, but a lot of the stuff he says is really jerk like with a lot of arrogance

LittleFreak Sep 7, 2005 08:25 AM

Ah, now I remember. His name was Wolfgang Lettl. His pictures are really awesome.

DalÃ(-) is not bad either, though I don't remember most of his pictures.

Radium Sep 7, 2005 11:47 AM

Da Vinci. He was just cool. Though for the most part I like art, not the artists.

LittleFreak Sep 7, 2005 12:08 PM

I like Faw. And I like his art.

YAY!

Fawriel Sep 7, 2005 12:29 PM

YAY!

Radium Sep 7, 2005 12:59 PM

On the topic of lesser known artists, I have always liked Phil Foglio's style, too.

Violet CLM Sep 7, 2005 02:34 PM

Foglio's not too lesser-known, is he?

Radium Sep 7, 2005 02:50 PM

Enough that I don't think he would belong next to Da Vinci, Dali, and other people that already died.

Batty Buddy Sep 7, 2005 04:05 PM

Que Passa!!!!

Jacob Lawrence.

YES! These folks are on my list. Also, I'm adding in whoever worked on Maui Mallard, Don Rosa, the artists for PKNA, Whatshername who made Ranma, Who ever did Saiyuki, and a few others I can't think the names of right on the top of my head
Oh, and Walt Disney. The old disney character designs were awesome.
