Wierd Spring Problem...

Hi, I have another problem, thankyou to all who helped with the moti(-)(-)(-)(-)(-)(-) probelm. It is, I can't make a spring face left. The only go right. How do I go about fixing this?

Place it against a wall... :p

Change the Keep X Speed (the 2nd one in JCS) to 1.

Does that also work in mid air? That'd help a heck of a lot. :p

I always thought H-springs automatically adjust their direction according to the wall that is present either in the tile on the right, or the tile on the left.

Yes, they do, but when there is no wall, it always faces right, and Cooba, I haven't got that to work.

Maybe he isn't using the Hor Spring events.

...no, that makes the player keep their x-speed when being launched by a spring, as the event name says. Springs are supposed to change directions according to the walls they're next to.

Isn't that the first keep?

No, that's the second.

It's not really valid to say either is "first" or "second". The one on top in the JCS window is the last one listed in JCS.ini. Keep X is lower down than Keep Y but does come first in terms of programming.
