I'm Sorry Jazz 2 Community

Yes it is I, drmoo. I wish to apologize to you all. Ever since I learned memory editing, i've gone mad with power and used it for the wrong things, including cheating and using servers to experiment on certain areas of memory that i shouldn't've messed with knowing that it could cause some damage. I have been responsible for accidently crashing two servers when memory editing and i've learned my lesson and will stop unless permitted to. I just wanted to apologize for any damage i may have done to you all!!!

jam Apr 28, 2006 11:42 AM

At least you apologized.

Dermo Apr 28, 2006 11:44 AM

:) glad to see you're not at my neck like some people are... :D

MSB3000 Apr 28, 2006 11:49 AM

Thnx for the apology.

Just don't do what Orbitz did...

Speeza Apr 28, 2006 12:04 PM

jam Apr 28, 2006 12:08 PM

Leave the Nimrod-ness to Nimrod please Jamster.

Speeza Apr 28, 2006 12:26 PM

Please could someone enlighten me as to when I have thrown a "paddy" recently?

Go and find the first dictionary you can and look up "anyway". You will find it does not contain a space. Oh yeah, you need a space after the comma too.

Cats can't use a computer. It is physically impossible.

I'm pretty sure you know, considering you wrote it. You could always read through your post again to make doubly sure.

Oh and one last word- please don't go around accusing me of every hacking incident that occurs on your server. I'm pretty sure you are going around finding anyone capable of crashing a server and accusing them- just because you are too lazy to run packet logging software. And don't keep going on about setting your hacker boyfriends on me, it really doesn't work.

Jerrythabest Apr 28, 2006 12:42 PM

:| this must be proof, jam is not Jamster :| I'm certain... *shuts up*

nice, drmoo:) I apologize for crashing ajazz and getting a two week ban too, btw :)

FQuist Apr 28, 2006 01:06 PM

FYI, DrMoo says quitting "takes time" and didn't quit. A little bit silly, really.

Dermo Apr 28, 2006 01:14 PM

hey hey hey...i'm not crashing or anything stupid...just having some fun in the battle server using a twisted version of jazztool to send messages as in "drmoolovesred joined the game" but i did quit anything dangerous.

I wonder how you explain the other 100 servers you crashed, and how you bragged about those "powers" you had ;)

I just want an answer on that, after that I'm fine, and glad you apologized ;p

You can always have as much fun as you'd like... in your own servers.
I remember when I first learned to memory edit in GH and it was fun to cheat online when very few people were capable of doing it. People were like OMG how do you do that?! Todays it's more like a nuisance and it really isn't fun any more.

I remember when I got my first Megawarp I would warp to everyone constantly and drive them crazy until Cell killed me and told me to stop.

Monolith Apr 28, 2006 07:36 PM

Something that would be appreciated is if you could tell me how you managed to cause those crashes so I could hopefully try to fix them.

NovaStar Apr 28, 2006 08:02 PM

Yeah, that would be appreciated ;P

minmay May 13, 2006 12:03 PM

drmoo, if you can apologize, you must not be that bad.

Orbitz could "apologize" too, for the record.

Black Ninja May 13, 2006 12:07 PM

DrMoo, I respect you for actually apologizing for it. I can remember very well when I first started memory editing. JJ2 was so easy to memory edit, and everyone was amazed. Then I started crashing serves, taking down listservers, etc. Then I made AntiCrash as an apology.

My point is, if you want to keep on memory editing JJ2 without causing any harm, try and release something that will actually better the community. Figure out how to fix a bug and post a patch for it - that kind of thing.

jam May 13, 2006 12:42 PM

Black Ninja, have you decided whether your resolution changing program will be public yet?

That's something I'm still debating. However, you can still win a limited beta of it by entering (and winning) my Foo Products Assault Level Contest.

I agree. =) And drmoo, I think I have saw you in JJ2 netgame(Um, is the spelling correct?).... If you remember character called CoOkie, then I have(CoOkie is my big brother.). And I were MoonRazor like always. =)

Oh, I'm new here, hi everybody! =)

Jerrythabest May 13, 2006 11:45 PM

hi :)

I still find it sad that you can only win that great resolution program by making the type of levels I suck in most.

I find it sad you said you suck at all levels, saying you suck at assault the most, now go practice your JCS skills. :D

It's all a matter of opinion, I could say it to you wether or not it would be truthful. :p
