If you're talking about jj2 then (to ease your pain) you won't find the link on this website.

niek May 27, 2006 05:11 AM

This page has much links on how to buy the game. Nobody is supposed to download the game.

Wrong. Once someone buys the license for the game, they may download copies of that game for free. It's the license you pay for, not the game data.

niek May 27, 2006 05:28 AM

Oops, sorry. My mistake, I don't know much about game licenses..

This means that the game should be uploaded by someone first, which is illegal as well, as I haven't seen legal downloadable versions of JJ2 online yet.

This is correct (at least for Dutch laws) IIRC. It is legal to download things, but not to upload.

minmay May 27, 2006 03:18 PM

You can legally download the shareware version, but that won't do you any good.

niek May 27, 2006 11:03 PM

Of course you can. But for this community, you could better have the full version in order to enjoy the real fun.

Depends... files uploaded before that law was enforced should still be legal, as no retroactive punishment is fair

Besides, that law is only for your country

Uploading licensed software is illegal everywhere IIRC.

Not completely. Dutch laws indicate that you may download illegaly uploaded music, but no illegal movies, games and software ;)
These laws change a lot of times, though.

niek May 28, 2006 06:44 AM

I thought that you may download music and movies but not games in the Netherlands. But I could be wrong..

Nielsje May 28, 2006 07:11 AM

I'm unsure about movies. Games are in any case forbidden (that's why B.I.G. was found ;))

Birdie May 28, 2006 07:49 AM

What does big stand for?

Camou May 28, 2006 08:01 AM

Ban Illegale Games & Software.

Stijn May 28, 2006 08:54 AM

Meaning "Ban Illegal Games And Software" (o rly) which is redundant because games usually are software. The whole organisation sucks anyway.

Grytolle May 28, 2006 09:41 AM

So what does the law say about just hosting, not uploading?

Actually it's not "uploading" in general.
The law forbids people to make illegal data available on the internet, so that means either hosting or uploading.

FQuist May 28, 2006 01:45 PM

Regardless of this all, distribution of JJ2 is unsupported by these forums and any messages pointing to methods or urls will be deleted, and possibly given warnings for.

Direct link to jj2 full download: No
Link to a website that has direct link to jj2 full download: No.
Link to a website that has link(s) to websites that have direct link(s) to jj2 full download: www.google.com

That's all I can do for you. Good luck finding it.
