Christmas Chronicles 2006 - Testers wanted (Was HH2006)
 

TSF ONLY!!

I have been working on the Christmas pack for quite a while and I would like some people to test these 2 levels I have finished. I have LV 1 and the first Bonus level. I'd like to know if anything can be improved in these levels, eyecandy, etc.

UPDATES

17/12/2006 - I have decided to change the name of the pack to Christmas Chronicles 2006

18/12/2006 - I may not be able to release it on the 25th. I have some work to type up for the next 5 days. I will try to release it ASAP!

19/12/2006 - Added extra platform in the Hidden Block room. Added extra food in some places. Final version still work in progress.

The Zip file is corrupted. Which means it won't open.

That's odd. I just tested it and it works fine. :confused:

I think a pack labeled HH should not be a TSF only pack.

It should be a HH98 only pack

Whoops! I forgot to mention that. I have edited the first post to indicate that this is for TSF only.

My pack is TSF coz my 1.23 JCS seems to keep disappearing for no reason.

I have to agree with KRSplat, mostly because I pondered about mentioning that idea after making my above post.

The files seem to be corrupt.

Would it kill you to upload the tilesets along with the level?

DOH! I keep forgetting to include the Tilesets. I've re-uploaded it now.

Thanks for the suggestion. I have decided to call it that now since HH was 1.23 compatible.

Wonderful concepts and gimmicks. I will say, though, that the level definitely needs more eyecandy and baddies. Item placement was good, but I would have liked a bit more food.

I removed the intro from the DKC3 Bonus music using Modplug Tracker to get a better loop.

Main level:
Very nice gimmicks, but a couple of problems:

1. Lori can't reach the items in the invisible block room.

2. It look really wierd having water appear and disappear out of nowhere.

Bonus level:
Nice, but why didn't you use the Christmas version of the DKC3 bonus music?

Whoops! Completely forgot about Lori. Should be fixed in the final version.
