You should use alot time fixin on your level. I used something like 3 weeks to make my first level to J2O...
See some of the levels on downloads section that have gotten 9 or more for eyecandy examples and overall examples how to make good levels!

kk i'll spend a bit of time getting some eyecandy in

Shiny Rabbit Feb 25, 2007 10:38 AM

and TONNES of enemies

GoldRabbit Feb 25, 2007 10:43 AM

Do not add too much enemies, that will not make the level hard, but will make it banal.(Isn't banal only to walk and shoot?)Make something challenging(not shooting a lot of enemies)like a plac where you mst rf climb, gold jump,a long vine and bees that attack you and make push you etc.

Shiny Rabbit Feb 25, 2007 10:59 AM

thats what im planning because at the begginning i found you can really easilly skip part of it by hovering over a fair chunk and i'll add some electrodes or bees there to make it a bit trickier

what kind of backdrop would be good for an underground-ey section with the diamondus tileset?

GoldRabbit Feb 26, 2007 06:14 AM

you will find a background(its purple i think)that looks like a sky.go at layer 8 properties and check texture.then put the background on layer 8 by pressing 8 and then putting the background.
this applies only if "backdrop for an underground-ey section with the diamondus tileset" means background with the diamondus tileset.

i've put that level on hold for a while and i have finished a small battle level
