Wow omg!

It is amazing to see the community still around! I've been gone for quite some time but it is good to see you all, recently I was diagnosed with cancer and it really made me think about my life, and Jazz used to be a HUGE part of it! Thanks for everything guys.

cancer dd

Fawriel Mar 5, 2007 12:01 AM

Hmmh. You're welcome.

Grytolle Mar 5, 2007 12:03 AM

What's so amazing about it? Good luck with the cancer:\

Marijn Mar 5, 2007 08:24 AM

I really hope it can be removed!

And Jazz is also in my keywords of life ;)

n00b Mar 5, 2007 12:45 PM

You know, I always feel bad whenever someone comes back because they always say "It's so AMAZING that you guys are still around!!"

Are we honestly that terrible of a community that everyone who has left assumes the community fell apart?

ShadeJackrabbit Mar 5, 2007 02:01 PM

...I won't answer that. :)

Grytolle Mar 5, 2007 04:32 PM

... me neither :)

KRSplat Mar 5, 2007 04:54 PM

Heh. Welcome back EeveeJT, nice to see you.

NovaStar Mar 5, 2007 10:10 PM

I don't think I'll answer that either :)

But welcome back Eevee!

Anaiyu Mar 5, 2007 11:44 PM

It's not that this is a bad community. It's just that most of us are grown up now (at least physically... some still have the mental capacity of a seven year old ;)).

Welcome back, Eevee. Will you stay for long? Or will you disappear again?

Grytolle Mar 6, 2007 03:39 AM

Grown up communities are the best! :D

KRSplat Mar 6, 2007 09:34 AM

But every community needs to raise its youth well or else it has no future. Have we been raising our kids?

DoubleGJ Mar 6, 2007 12:52 PM

If I'll have kids, I'll do my best to teach them how awesome Jazz Jackrabbit is.

Black Ninja Mar 6, 2007 08:44 PM

WB.

Personally, I am shocked every day that the community continues to exist, not because it's a bad community, but because it's a bad game but because, as has been said before, we are all getting older and moving on to other things. In all honesty, the community does rock.

That said, I shall now go hide and not make more posts for a few months.

Torkell Mar 7, 2007 04:50 AM

It does seem to have drifted a bit from being a community of fans to a community. I've not touched JJ2 since last year, but I still hang around and post here.

ShadeJackrabbit Mar 7, 2007 01:58 PM

Heh, some of you guys I see as friends. In a strictly internet-only way. :) And other's of you... I won't get into that. :) But yeah, the game is actually just a common factor now. Even if we do play it, that's not what really holds us together.

So, my friends, we are a community!

P.S. That was REALLY cheezy.

firion2j Mar 7, 2007 11:24 PM

Hm. I was more surprised that there was a JJ2 community! Now, to get my friend to give my install CD back... (I got a new PC)

Ninja 101 Mar 9, 2007 06:51 AM

I don't know if anyone has said, but

HOLY CRAP! CANCER!??!!?!

DarkSonic Mar 9, 2007 07:37 AM

Indeed. And n00b, that's a bit rude because this is not a normal person. Our community has been around for years now, and to be honest I didn't expect it would still be so big.

So, welcome back!

I can agree with that, except that I see you guys as closer friends than my classmates sometimes...
Yeah, I know that is weird. :)

Hare Mar 9, 2007 02:13 PM

Wow, Firion, how bad WAS your PC? I had JJ2 running on a 75 MHz pentium 1 once. (it sucked)

& WB Eevee. Hey, hang in there alright?

/me goes back to lurking.

Oh yeah? I don't even need a computer to run JJ2. I can spin the CD on my finger, then shoot my eye-lasers at it and run the program in my mind (at 70 FPS!)

WB Eevee, BTW.

Digga digga what? What does her unfortunate case of cancer have to do with ANYTHING I said?

Is this what my post looked like to you?

Honestly, what the hell does someone having cancer have to do with EVERYONE regardless of condition coming back and saying it's amazing the community is still around?

n00b Mar 10, 2007 04:07 PM

Please point out where I talked about people's reasons for coming back plz and thx.

Anaiyu Mar 10, 2007 11:15 PM

You guys should have that argument elsewhere, rather than right in front of Eevee's face. It's a bit inconsiderate.

Stijn Mar 11, 2007 02:51 AM

Anaiyu's opinion happens to be the same as Stijn's Official Stance On The Matter™

Camou Mar 11, 2007 02:51 AM

Sucks that you have cancer. Hope you get cured =)

mike231 Mar 12, 2007 03:27 PM

I wish you luck, I hope you get better.
