For differentiating the "realistic view" from the "photoshop view", You are my new favorite person.

Actually I am also a PS newbie, I don't know if I can do the same stuff cooba did :-) just speaking out what I see.

There are a few pics I'm going to show up here soon, and as a matter of fact no PS is involved :p hope you guys won't be disappointed

On a more serious note:
The effects in the image are pretty awesome, but I suggest to keep as many shapes as recognizable possible. And maybe a slight hint to what you mean with "Jazz in danger".

Don't you get it? It's a reference to 1920's and 1930's Jazz being in danger from that 1940's Big Band Drug Poppin' sound
