JDC 13 Logo Contest
 

Long awaited season is finally here, and it's time for a new logo.

Rules

• Image must be 385x130 pixels.
• It must not clash with the current colour scheme.
• Keep filesize reasonable; Around 70kb is fine.
• Include "JDC" in the picture, and make it easily readable. All other words are optional.
• Preferably have the artwork reflect the competition aspect of JJ2.

These are taken directly from EvilMike's topic, with a few minor modifications.

As for the deadline, everything is sort of rushed, and the opening date for JDC is said to be on the 14th of july (not set in stone). Try to make one before then.

It doesn't matter cooba , this is a contest for the best , if he can't draw jazz then he won't be sucseeding .

I disagree. Most JDC logo entries use predone Jazz images (see: Last season's winner) (and usually just the same stock), and just because you can draw Jazz really well doesn't mean your logo will win.

Um i wasn't disagreeing about that , and I mean people who are no good at all of drawing jazz.

"duelist's" indicates there is only one duelist while "duelists' " indicates there is more than one.

Duelist is labeled as a group of many even if it isn't plural I would guess. ;)

I'd like to comment on the grammar of 'Jazz Duelist's Challenge'. It should be 'duelists'' if the participants are duelists, and the competition belongs to them, and 'duelist's' if it's a Jazz Duelist who is hosting the competition. 'Duelist's' isn't incorrect because of this, however, because 'Jazz Duelist's Challenge' could also mean a challenge...for...Jazz Duelists. It is like 'Freud is the poor man's Jung', and 'we had mariner's pie for dinner'. It makes more sense when we add a definite article: 'The Jazz Duelist's Challenge'. Oh, and now we know why some people prefer double quotation marks.

EDIT: I wrote a comment about Sacrush's logo, but it turned out it has already been commented on, so it's gone now (I need new pronouns). Maybe they could fight over Eva, Fat Chick, or the Witch instead?

I believe that WR has done justice to the grammar issue. If we like your logo the best and there's an issue with grammar we'll try and contact you so that you can fix it.

If you happen to be too unmotivated to fix the logo in time, it will not be chosen. Just wanted to clarify that.
