Tabs question

Howdy! Just a quick question, as I seem unable to figure out the answer for myself.

On each person's profile page (assuming they're online), it says what they're doing. However, what if they are browsing the forum with more than one tab?

For example, let's say I'm viewing my private messages and the misc stuff forum, each in different tabs. How does the profile page determine what to put for the "What I'm doing" thing?

What if the person doesn't click links?

The Who's Online (and activity section in the profile) always shows the most recent page requested by the user, regardless of whether it was through a link, bookmark, or entered directly.
