Ragnarok! May 12, 2009 01:47 PM

You contributed nothing to this thread by saying that. o_o

Stijn May 12, 2009 01:51 PM

Righto, please contribute more meaningfully (or not at all) on the JCF, Grytolle.

Grytolle May 12, 2009 10:39 PM

ok look
here: http://jazzjackrabbit.net/fur/si/

and here: http://jazz.digiex.net:10057/
for more gip!

also my investigation shows that that server doesn't use jj2+, but that it can't be crashed with ASD!

SPAZ18 May 13, 2009 12:54 AM

I just attempted to join that server and I got the "Server Stopped" error after about 3 seconds but then the server remains there.
Also, 20,657 players of nothing?

I just noticed that the number increases each time the page is refreshed.

Vegito May 13, 2009 01:19 AM

Why do TSF noobs care so much about a random server and say stupid things that make no sense? Other than that the server is just weird and has no meaning, I don't see why players start banning people over this server. *cough* Shaker *cough*
This is how much impression this server makes on the TSF players apparently. :o

In the first gip shows that the version of the server is 1.20 also is not a plus server.
In the server is a player named 'Ligh of Judgement' with number 256 :o

EvilMike May 13, 2009 11:12 AM

if you join you get a virus and your computer will die in 7 days

Vegito May 13, 2009 12:29 PM

Which is forbidden at the JCF so HAHAHA YOU DIE.

I have a very crazy theory:

It's a script kiddie with a hex editor. Shocking! :O

I think he only changed the version of the jj2.exe.
Also the CTO from server, but it says 'server stoped' not 'conection timeout' strange...

Not surprising! From the looks of it I'd say it isn't even running jj2. It appears to be some sort of semi-working dedicated server software. The server responds to client TCP requests, but they haven't bothered to implement the UDP protocol yet. People would receive the "server stopped" dialog because the server appears to intentionally disconnect the player shortly after joining by sending a couple of disconnect packets. It also sends some weird and inaccurate data to the list server. This server is harmless.

If that is true then this 'dedicate server' will be a good thing for jj2 when will be done.

Vegito May 15, 2009 12:17 PM

If it will be done.

Cpp May 15, 2009 12:28 PM

Heh, how did I see this one coming ^^ :)

DarkB May 15, 2009 11:53 PM

Black Hole server vanished...
I think the server just became bored to keep a server that can't be played.

ShakerNL May 21, 2009 04:05 PM

What do you mean by this??

I don't even care about that server..

ShakerNL May 24, 2009 02:18 PM

When I join this server I will be renamed from 'SHÁKÉR NL' to 'SHAKER NL',
When I join using a different ip address, I will be renamed to 'FAKER!'

Vegito May 24, 2009 02:55 PM

Perhaps the guy hosting this really does upgrade its uses.

Cpp May 26, 2009 07:29 AM
