JCS Awards 2012 - Nominations

The year is about to end and so the time to reward community members for their contributions to J2O download section has come.

Everybody sure knows the procedure by now, but as a reminder, the voting comes in two phases. This thread is only for phase one, the nominations: everybody is welcome to nominate as many levels/tilesets as they want, including those they made themselves, that they consider worthy to win an award. The only condition is that the subjects of nomination have to have been released in 2012.

The categories you can nominate entries for are:
- Best Battle Level
- Best CTF Level
- Best Other MP Level
- Best MP Pack
- Best Single Player Release
- Best Tileset
- Best JCSer

For reference or to obtain more information on JCS Awards, head on to associated 2011 threads:

Well, 2012 wasn't the best year when it comes to levelmaking, was it?

Best Battle Level: Perfect Battle Arena by me. I know what are you thinking, but it seems to be the only decent battle level uploaded in 2012 (that says a lot about this year :c)

Best CTF Level: Black Jack by SJ, a decent level

Best Other MP Level: Gravity is Overrated by cooba, one of the rare non-battle/CTF single-level uploads from this year

Best MP Pack: Episodic Ground Force Pack by minmay

Best Single Player Release: Resurrection of Evil Episode 2 by Laro

Best Tileset: None uploaded this year

Best JCSer: Plumbe - released two decent CTF levels this year, definitely deserves the award

Funny how none of these popped up when I was searching... almost makes you think a J2o admin had something to do with it...

I'll just add Crystalline by Plumbe (best CTF level) and Total Annihilation I by Loon (best MP pack) to the list, I guess.

Uh. Well, to enable any competition in best tileset category let me nominate Rapture and Scorpio Key. This is obviously going to be an easy award though. Same goes to single player, where the only additional nomination I can think of is Amphibe: The Unsung Hero.

Violet CLM's Scorpio Key for tileset, Loon's Resurrection of Evil 2 (Watch out though, Loon, you're gonna have competition from me NEXT year!) for SP, Ragnarok for JCSer

Loon's Resurrection of Evil 2?

The lists, although much shorter than last year, don't seem to require any more entries to me. Because it's just my subjective opinion though, and this thread was created rather late, if you have more suggestions, you can still nominate until sometime around midnight, when the voting begins.

All times are GMT -8. The time now is 12:10 AM.
