j2oDOS Prompt
I'm not going to tell anyone how I got onto this page, if you want me not to.
![]() I tried to ban myself, didn't work (duuh). I see it's mounted on "L". I typed "dir", but it doesn't let me use the command. Anyway, what's its purpose? |
It's an easter egg.

Does it have any other purpose? Are there even working commands? |

I will say that it is a few years old, so I have no idea how well it still works. |

Don't post them here! It's more fun if people can discover it themselves.

Yes ;) There's more commands the DOS prompt supports, and there's a few to be found through the site as well.

Nice, starting to like it. Nothing hidden in the source, what a shame. |
I feel tempted to say more...
Violet CLM's name is Sam Shemitz. I'm pretty sure he has a FB account as well. I'm a level 2 user? I didn't know that. ... Aww, everyone's level 2. Lobsters. k. |
The "login" command says "Insufficient user privileges for user GUEST. This incident will be reported."
I feel being watched, so I guess I had enough of it :| |

EDIT: yeah worked now. Awesome :P |
I'm sure I've seen this before(I think I discovered it a couple of years ago, bookmarked it, PC died, and I forgot about this easter egg).
I've messed around with it a bit. Pretty fun, although I couldn't find any easter eggs outside what the help shows(I tried a bunch of stuff such as prefixing a command with "sudo"(I apologise if this is a bad thing to do; I assumed it would do something silly/funny), several JJ2 cheatcodes, a couple of random JJ2 general things). One question: Is it possible to browse the forums using this, or can it only do some silly J2O-related things? EDIT: Bug report. The clock is one minute behind. |

You can view downloads, pictures and user info with it at this point, and some other assorted things. It's not linked to the JCF. |
