Me Need Help With Stuff Please

Is there a way that i can join 1.23 games if i have the 1.24 patch?

Yes. You should have made a backup of your original JJ2, so just use that to join 1.23 games. If you didn't make a backup (and only have the patched version), just reinstall 1.23 into a different directory.

1.24 can't join 1.23, and 1.23 can't join 1.24. So the answer to what you are asking is really "No." But you can still join 1.23 games with an unpatched 1.23.

Not quite, Link. Remember the J2HG server program?

And for you, Zim...
Get project Controller 4. It allows you to do many things with jj2. One of them is connecting to servers with different versions.

And read the manual before you use it.

I do remember that. I just was referring to doing it without programs or hex editing.
