While I like all the clans I've been in, I like to feel like I am part of a bigger clan that contains this entire community. This idea was (I think) what Unknown Rabbit was trying to say. The community really is one big clan. Clans have disagreements in them all the time, and so does the community. Who said that a clan has to be perfect? This community contains people that I have known for a long time and just because they don't excel in CTF I wouldn't automatically exclude.

A clan isn't about battles. It isn't about being the better clan. A clan, like the game, is about having fun and being friends with your fellow clan members. And that's what I want the community to be like. Really, we are a small group if you think about it in the big sense, and we are a clan of sorts. We share similar passions and ideas, and that's why we're still a group after all of these years.

We are a clan, whether we like it or not. But I like it, and I'm glad to be a part of this community I have devoted 4 years, a third of my life, to.

Flea's not all that special anymore. Heh, I don't think I am either. I am just waiting for DSL to be available in my area. Then I will start playing 24 hours a day 7 days a week. I want to 0wn agian. :oD

Actually, I don't think that it's great playing ability that makes someone so amazing in a clan.

It seems that a lot of people here miss a big point of being in a clan: friendship. If someone acts out and never helps out in a clan, then, well, they aren't helpful.

If it was for playing ability, there is one player who would be on pretty much every list. You know who I mean. But there are people who I would put into my clan that, while I would keep as far away from clan wars as I can get them (like me ;)) I would have because they would be excellent sources of determination and because they are nice people.

That's what I think a good clan member is.

Trafton's absolutely right. Skill is just a minor thing in clans, it's all about the teamwork and friendship!

I think [SDU] is a great clan.

Everyone thinks their clan is the best, or else they might get kicked out :rolleyes:

So what they are not that good? I dun care about all that..I love TF how it is now, even as we are not one of the bests..But we have fun with eachother, and that's what I like so much.

And that's what clans is all about.
