is private (at least for me)

It just says:

This is a Private Forum. You do not have access to read this forum.

It isn't supposed to be is it?

Newspaz Mar 24, 2001 02:19 AM

I think it should be.. otherwise we get lots of people requesting their levels in the bash.

Aiko Mar 24, 2001 02:23 AM

i think it should be completely invisible to other people. it only makes them jealous if they see they cant get in.

Ask Fquist..

Fquist_old Mar 24, 2001 04:18 AM

Actually that's quite hard to program.

I have other priorities.. to make the board a bit more usefull.

Umm.. does no-one read the welcome msg in the announcements forum? It says right there that for access you should ask me. :-P

(and give up a good reason too)

Or how about making it so only that you can LOOK at the stuff, but not post, unless you have permission to do so. Or is this a bad idea?

You most certainly can. It's exactly what happened to me, originally. I forget what the deal was, though, ask fq.

It can't. We'd have to add all users every time. It's not dynamic.
