Experiment Drawing muscles... (slight nudity)

She's a catgirl, she's muscular, she's swinging across a lake, and she's... naked? I was practicing drawing muscles, and I guess I thought it would defeat the purpouse if I covered her with too much clothing. Nothing's showing, but I still wasn't sure if this would be "Derby approved". Most people thought it was PG-rated, so I'll take their word for that.

Anyway, here it is:

Very nice work. The anatomy seems quite accurate to me, and the nudity is nothing major. Good job. I've no complaints but I am less than a critic.

Wild Angel Jun 6, 2003 09:44 AM

Very good figure. UGH! Why can't I draw a figure.... *Bashes her head on a wall*

She's a catgirl, she's muscular, she's swinging across a lake, and she's... genderless? o_0

Radium Jun 6, 2003 11:59 AM

@Spaztic: Thanks.
@Angel: I reccomend finsing a good tutorial.
@Fawriel: She's not genderless, foo. I was trying to keep it PG rated.

Fawriel Jun 6, 2003 12:08 PM

I would rather have put something in front of risky parts or changed her pose for that instead of turning her into a Sailor Moon character.

If it's honestly bothering you, let's just say it's a bodysuit, okay? Or that she just has lots of fur.

Fawriel Jun 6, 2003 12:12 PM

Deal.

Fawriel Jun 6, 2003 12:13 PM

Oh, and I think her left arm is slightly wrong... I could be wrong, but I dun think so.
Otherwise, well-drawn.

OMG FAW SAID SOMETHING INTELLIGENT!
Actually, I agree (I didn't notice this before). Her left collarbone should be tilted upwards a bit.

Wildie, do not disapprove, insulting other people is the only thing he has to look good.

Monolith Jun 6, 2003 09:00 PM

The arms look good, but the chest and legs seem a little too muscular.

Hare Jun 7, 2003 05:41 AM

I agree with Monolith.

Piccolo: You sure prefer to have art drawn anatomically correct. I'm not quite sure why this bothers ya so much, though.

Radium Jun 7, 2003 06:38 AM

I agree with Kaz.

@Hare+Lith: She's supposed to look muscular, though maybe I should've put more muscle in her arms or less in her legs... evened it out a bit.

KRSplat Jun 7, 2003 09:08 AM

I doubt if a hand-drawn cat can qualify as (broccoli soup).

EDIT: Accidental unfiltering error/humor addition.

Radium Jun 7, 2003 09:11 AM

"Humor addition"? That one's new.

KRSplat Jun 7, 2003 09:27 AM

yeah, but what else should I call it?

Actually, not at all...
But Rad wanted criticism. And I wanted to bother him a little. ^^

Hare Jun 8, 2003 05:22 PM

LOL, so you could like convince him to draw a few... lines, then laugh at him? Sounds diobolical enough, but I don't think it'll work ;).

Shorty Jun 9, 2003 09:27 AM

Honestly, I'm not sure about this...but I thought girls can't get stomach muscles THAT well defined. Like, girls cannot get six packs like guys can. So...yeah, that kinda bothered me. I'm prolly wrong though.

I like it though. Cute facial expression.

Fawriel Jun 9, 2003 09:48 AM

This is the sexiest cat I've ever seen. And Piccolo that lady you put on is REALLY NASTY!!!!!!!!! lol

KRSplat Jun 9, 2003 04:04 PM

That is a woman? It looks more like a sexually aletered male. Or maybe digitally altered... probably the latter...

Hare Jun 9, 2003 08:39 PM

The picture of that woman isn't the scary thing. The scary thing is that there are women out there more muscular that her!!!!

Shorty Jun 10, 2003 11:29 AM

So was I right? :p

Hare Jun 11, 2003 12:42 AM

I don't know, shorty, but that lady sure looks like some freaky clingnon chick.

Batty Buddy Jun 11, 2003 08:23 AM

Que Passa!!!!

It should be noted that I picked up a copy of She-Hulk, and they have her with the stomache muscles. I guess the reason Piccolo's musclegirl doesn't is because she hasn't been doing her crunches.

Shorty Jun 11, 2003 11:01 AM

Yeah...that girls is pretty nasty. Icks.
