Jazz 2 Sprite Comics
 

In another one of my bored moments, I made a couple of Jazz Jackrabbit related sprite comics.

Well, what do you think? Are they funny? Should I make more?

They weren't bad, though not my kind of humour. I am more into senselessness and irony myself.



Another comic idea was to take random objects, place them in random scenery, and have their dialogue consist of random fragments of stuff from #jj2.

I am a blender. ;(

I like the second a lot =) very nice.

The second one is way too easy a gag, and you can sort of guess what's coming before coming near the finish. The first is ok, though.

Sometime earlier this year, perhaps over the summer. Can't remember exactly. =P

I never knew that, and yet, I was the blender.

Anyways,

You should make one about the time the dude came into the bar, and there was that black guy, and the guys like, "Did you know you're black?" and the guy's like, "No." and the guy's like, "Well you are."

The first one is quite funny.
Second isn't bad.

There both pretty cool! Its rare to see Jazz sprite comics. The first one is such a funny and silly gag! The second one seems to sum up why I hate the story of JJGBA and will NEVER buy it (don't have a GBA anyway so meh:P). Anyway Make more!

Dude, you're not supposed to like or hate Jazz games because of the story. If you're playing for the story, that's SOoooo the wrong reason to be playing Jazz. If you're gonna hate it, hate it because it's slow and repetitive. ;-)

Well its not just the story. The whole look of the game is just so "ugh". And from what I've heard the gameplays pretty un-jazzy.

And on those, you have most definately heard correctly. It's a bummer too. It feels a little bit like the developers played a little bit of JJ2 but didn't know that there was run button, and thought his normal walking speed was supposed to be "fast" or something.

Still... if Jazz could run a little faster, I'd overlook the graphics and the story. It's also a lot better when played on a real GBA, and most people I know have mainly only tried it on an emulator, and that makes the game seem a whole lot worse. Ick.




Oh yeah... the sprite comics... I got a silent chuckle out of them. Not laugh-out-loud funny, but entertaining. If you think you've got more in you, go for it. If not... well why would you bother anyway? ;-)

How nicely coincidental. I was just thinking I would like to read some jazz2 sprite comics this morning, actually.

It looks like you tried to make his mouth open in a few panels. Instead of putting a little black dot next to his teeth, move the front of his jaw down a pixel or two with the select tool.

Rux comics, you should make a set of them =P.

That might work better without the first panel, really. Some sort of expression on the turtle robot in the final panel might be nice, too, so it looks like it didn't expect to be ignored.
