Actually, I find that you need to have something around #050505 at the least in order for the colour to show right. I have tried "almost black" things like #010000 but those seem to be a tad glitchy.

Chances are that a firewall is blocking it or the listservers are down. A common problem for people is that they have a network router (those always have built in firewalls) but are unaware of it.

I really doubt that would work. If another person takes over as a server, the servers IP would change, it's latency would change, and the level cycle may not agree with what is on the takeover host's...

Heh, a lot of the games on that site are legal to download. I am not sure about Jazz1, but I know that a lot of them, including OMF are now freeware.
