I think Violet's point was that it was not fair to imply that JJ2+ is intentionally unsafe, when it comes to IP-privacy. Let's try to keep the conversation constructive rather than accusative.
P.S. I do understand that there can be disagreements on the priority and importance of these matters between the community and the dev team. From the community's perspective it is of course beneficial to maximize privacy and security, considering what has happened in the past, but the dev team naturally works with limited resources.
