Hold a knife to Lem's throat in case he plans to reload the game from the beginning of the Egam maze again.

Yes, but they don't seem to be happening as much as they should. I thought it was meant to be that every GM post was an automatic save, except for posts where you die (in which case its an automatic load from the previous GM post).

Automatic saves aren't meant to be every post. There are certain points between when you're doomed and when you die that saving would just get you stuck, like saving while you're falling down a cliff. Starting over when you died in the maze was logical, because there was meant to be a penalty for not moving fast enough. "You died. Game loaded from current location" defeats the purpose of the timer.

How much time did we have to complete the Egam maze?

BoggyB:
Entrance/Lobby
Corridor 1
Dragon Room
Corridor 2
Mary's Home
Corridor 3 w/ Security Door
Egam Maze
Tower Stairway w/Giant Beholder <---YOU ARE HERE
Teleportation Center
Villain's Break Room
Unfoo's Lair
Faw: Your Party Is unable to slit my throat. =P
Xion: About five posts per room. Leaving the room resets the timer.

You move as slowly and silently up the stone staircase as possible, but but you hear a flapping of wings and the slippery movement of flesh against a wet surface; you turn to see that the Beholder has awakened! Its pale, white eye, devoid of any iris or pupil, stares at you from its perch, although it's hard to tell if it's even looking at you and your party.

Hoping that the creature didn't see you, you continue sneaking up the stairway. The Beholder suddenly blurts out "N0n3 5|-|411 p455!!" and fires a ruby-red laser beam just in front of you mere inches from your foot, leaving a large scorch mark on the stairs in front of you. "Perhaps, since the Beholder is obviously blind, it must have improved hearing," suggests Leetzan.

POIT! Mad Frank has been added to the party! =D
ZAPPU! The Beholder vaporizes Mad Frank, preventing him from ever rejoining the party. D=

Sorry, but at this point in the game, it's kinda impossible to add characters without sporking up the storyline. Perhaps if you ask real nice, I MIGHT add him in Pre-Win 3.1 Part 2.

Didn't I already say list spells and inventory?

List spells, abilities and inventory for all party members.

Ask l33tz4n about the Beholder.

Pressing the edit button would require extra effort and eat bandwidth that is being used for other things. Not everyone uses broadband. And it's not as if I've got a signature thats 10 times the size of my posts.

You are unable to determine if the Beholder has any sort of lense on its eye.

All eyes have lenses.

Cast: Invert Lens Color: Beholder

See, I think this will happen.

Since the beholder's lens is CLEAR, the invert color of CLEAR would be OPAQUE. Thus, this will then blind the Beholder, Deftly taking care of it and we can continue on our assault on Unfooruman's citidel.

Wow, Xion not only gets all the cookies, but the crumbs, loose chips, and the whole jar too! (Orignally, the lens was going to be black so I could make some lame reference to Duck Hunt, but that was cut out. =P)

Calling upon his arcane powers, Fooruman mumbles some magic words and says, "Close your eyes, kind sirs, lest your eyes be inverted too!!"
FLASH! A bright light fills the room, but since you covered your eyes beforehand, you don't see it. "Behold, for the creature has been blinded!" Fooruman quietly bellows. Indeed, the Beholder's single eye is jet-black, and the creature itself is flailing around, unable to see anything clearly. It thrashes around, bouncing off of wall and staircase alike like a large winged pinball. Eventually, the Beholder tires, and falls onto its platform with such force that it causes it to fall. You look off the edge to watch the creature plummet to its doom in a vat of boiling acid, placed to deter travelers from jumping across the gaps in the tower.
"Um, yay?" says Leetzan with uncertainty.

GAME SAVED! What are you going to do now?

Continue up the stairs

If Fooruman won't shut up about how he defeated the Beholder, point out the bubbling vat of boiling acid, and the lack of guard rails on the stairs. Make it clear what might happen involving Fooruman, the bubbling vat of boiling acid and the lack of guard rails should Fooruman not shut up.

Faw: You'll have to ask Xion since they're his cookies now. =P
Cooba: There's nothing special about the acid.
BoggyB: Now, why would Fooruman do something like that?

You pat Fooruman on the back for a jorb well done. "Glad to be of assisstance, gentlemen," he kindly replies.
Up the staircase you go, ascending what you assume is the other half of the tower. After much walking, you come across a door. What will you do?
