I Faw can only teleport to places you've been to already.

My best idea would be to use speed-enhancing spells to rush down the slope when the snowball comes and then evade it when having reached the bottom...

The question is, if she could, and it did, would it be able to somehow communicate with the party about what it saw..?

Seriously, though, you should formulate that in quotation marks as a question for Uberbob to ask Leetzy. Since she'll be more likely to know than other players.

Good lord, I come back from Thanksgiving dinner and suddenly I have a bajiliion things to reply to. Can't you just be satified in knowing that you destroyed the universe?

Canti3000 and Ae: To the North is the ice slope, to the East is the wall of debris, to the South is the icesmithy, and to the West is Scholar Sam's Academy. I think. Don't bother with the guy on the wave, because the only way to break the ice would be to chisel it, and you'd just end up shattering him into a bunch of tiny pieces if you tried that. People don't like being brought back to life once they've been shattered into a bunch of tiny pieces.

BoggyB: The boulder is being pushed down the slope by a currently unknown agent. Notice how they wait until you're just high enough for a fall to the ground to be fatal. Also, like Faw himself said, he can only teleport to cities you have been to, and only certain ones at that. You never gave him the chance to explain, but that's why he couldnt warp back tp Upper Placespot on his own. Also, the Enchantresphere can't talk, but you're somewhat close to a reasonable plan. Not that close, though.

Fawriel: The slope is too slippery to run up or down. You'd fall and start sliding, and then the snowball would nail you.

I would have just let you try all your theories and fail miserably, but I think it's safe to say we're all tried of this accursed Snowball of Death. Remember the limitations of this world; your previous attempts all failed because you acted without thinking. Remember the factors at work here: magic ice, non-magic snow, 70 degree/357 foot slope, 100 foot rope, magic chisels, and a boulder. Also remember that your party has to make it up the slope alive. Now gimme something good, you Uberbob fanatics.

Climb up the slope as before. When the boulder appears, use Haste to quickly all move to the side.

Sorry BoggyB, Haste can only be used on one person at a time. Only two of your units could be sped up, and it wouldn't work anyway because you're limited by the rope. Uberbob would be right where the chisel is in the ice, so he couldn't move to the side at all.

Have Uberbob climb the cliff alone. Use telekinesis to pull out the carving tools from behind him, so only he is required to climb. When he is hit by the snowball, revive him and climb the cliff as a party.

Uberbob stared boldly at the ice slope. "I'm climbing it alone," he said without looking back at the rest of us. "I refuse to risk the lives of those dearest to me on a foolhardy endeavour such as this."
"That never stopped you before," I said smugly. He looked back at me; his expression was strangely serious. Apparently he was having one of his rare moments of human emotion and somewhat-average intellegence.
"N0!" L33tz4n cried out. "You can't do it alone!"
Uberbob walked over to her and put his organic hand on her shoulder. "L33tz4n," he said, "there comes a time in every Bob's life when he must prove how uber he is. For me, that time is now. I might not make it back here to stand by your side, but we'll be together again some day." He took a deep breath and stared off into the clouds. "But I think it's gonna be a long, long time 'til then..."
L33tz4n put her hands over her mouth, stifiling a horrified gasp. Uberbob turned towards the slope and climbed back onto the rope. He climbed higher and higher, hammering in new chisels and tying the rope to them to keep going up. When he had used all five chisels, he closed his eyes, gritted his teeth, and telekinetically pulled out the lowest chisel and floated it back into his hand. He climbed up to 100 feet, when suddenly disaster struck.
A huge boulder fell from the slope and began rolling directly towards him, gathering snow on the way down and getting larger and larger. Halfway down it looked to be about 20 feet in diameter. Apparently someone didn't want him to reach Upper Placespot so easily.
Uberbob shot the Snowball of Death a defiant eye. I hoped he had another brilliant plan this time, but unfortunately... he didn't. The snowball crashed into him and sent him hurtling to the ground. We all leapt out of the way of the gigantic obstacle as it crashed onto the frozen sea. It rolled away to the South, apparently to pay the icesmith a visit.
We gathered around the body of our fallen leader, Uberbob. He was was badly mangled, but on his lips was very faint smile.
"It could have been us," Fawriel said with a look of shock.
L33tz4n slithered to Uberbob's side and clung to him, resting her head on his chest. My heart shattered as I watched her cry on the corpse of the one she had loved most. I never could have imagined that things would have ended up this way...
"Waitasec," Shuri said, "can't Faw just bring him back?" We all looked at each other stupidly, then at Fawriel.
"Erm... yeah, I think so," Fawriel replied.
He knelt down beside Uberbob, placed his hands over his heart, and enveloped him in a pillar of white light. Uberbob's body levitated off the ground, lifted by shining wings of energy. They placed him upon his feet. He rubbed his eyes, shook his head, looked up to us and said, "Whoa... despite what teen movies will have you believe, dyin' ain't cool."
We suddenly had a big group hug, though it wasn't much of a group hug as it only consisted of Uberbob, L33tz4n and Fawriel. I glaced over at Shuri. She glanced back. "Hey, can't I get hug?" I asked with a smile.
"Yeah, sure," she replied, "but you have to die first."

With the path now blindly assumed to be hazard-free, the five of us climbed up the rope together. At long last, we crawled over the edge of Upper Placespot. I looked out over the frozen sea below, amazed by how far our scraggly group of misfits had come. Where would our journey take us next? Only Rad the future knows...

And thus ends my DMship. It's been fun, guys, sorry I had to kill you so much. ;D

My paw sunk into the snowy bank at the top of the ledge and I hauled myself over. I lay in the ground for a moment regaining my breath before noticing the ground was really, really cold. Shuriken took by arm and helped me up. "Thanks," I said, looking into her deep, teal eyes. She scowled back at me. It gave me a nice, warm feeling inside - greatly welcomed in this cold.
We had apparently climbed into the back of the Placespot grocery store - or what used to be the grocery store. Before us, what was once in the back of the store was now a gaping opening with scortch marks along the side. Shelves were knocked over and food products - some frozen and some smoldering - were scattered across ground. It was a strange combination, definately a sign of magic.
Among the litter, the floor was streaked with dark red blood, probably fresh. Hidden beneath the blood were more scortch marks. I slowly walked across the room towards the door. The words "UNDER ATTACK. BE BACK LATER - GC" were scrawled across the glass, along with five or six bullet holes.
I turned around. "Faw, GC... Grandma Conquista was that evil warlord person that owned the gro... what are you doing?"
The green weasel was handing a pair of fuzzy, warm looking mittens to L33tz4n. "She looked cold. She doesn't have pants," he explained with a frown on his face.
"I don't have pants either!" I yelled at Faw. He sulked away through the building's missing wall to help Uberbob up over the edge. Behind me, I noticed a hallway leading to the west. A sign over it read "Restrooms", but the word "SAVE" had been sloppily written on it in blood.

For clarification, north is the doorway, west is the hallway, and south is off the edge of the slope.

I walked down the hallway. At the end there was the enterance to a bathroom, though the door had been knocked off its hinges and shattered. Blood carpeted the tile floor, and at the back of the room a brown rabbit lay slouched over, a shotgun in his hands. His chest slowly rose and fell, suggesting he was alive, but barely.
"This guy looks hurt, let's take his stuff," Uberbob said, entering the room behind me. I felt oddly like throwing a snowball at him, but lacking a snowball I was forced to use a brick on the ground next to me. Sadly, it didn't kill him.

Telekenesis is one of those useful spells I'm trying to deny the existance of in hopes you guys will forget it.

Fawriel conjured a slight glow around his hands and knelt down next to the injured rabbit. The rabbit struggled to raise his hand, signaling Fawriel to stop.
"Save your magic, shaman," he coughed, "I'm an unimportant character who's only purpose is to provide a cryptic warning and overly blatant foreshadowing of upcoming peril, as though the save point and room covered with blood weren't enough." It was an extremely long cough, really.
Fawriel began to mutter something about not being a shaman, but I cut him off with a more important question. "What happened?"
"I'm not... not entirely sure. It was all very fast and with lots of special effects and poor lighting. I came to Grandma Conqusita's Evil Grocery Store to buy some pure evil to gel my hair with. I decided to go to the bathroom, but as soon as I walked in I heard glass breaking, ice shattering, and the distinct *squelchthunk* noise of things getting hit with an axe. Voices started yelling to retreat, and the next thing I knew a cold wind and some giant thing with teeth burst through the door. Luckily, these bathrooms are made pretty safe." He tilted his head towards the wall. An empty box on the wall was labeled "Emergency Shotgun - IN THE EVENT OF AN EMERGENCY, BREAK GLASS, LOAD SHOTGUN, AND DESTROY EMERGENCY".
"What was out there?" Shuriken asked. She had walked in and joined us in interrogating the dying man.
"The only hint I had was a mage yelling something about how he 'Couldn't dispel Legacy', then there was a noise that sounded a lot like a mage getting chopped up in one of those vegetable things."
I pondered this for a moment. We had heard of Legacy before, and it wasn't a good thing. "Thank you for your time and crypticly useless foreshadowing," I told the rabbit.

"Don't forget to save," Uberbob reminded me.
I poked the sink with my finger and said "save." Shuriken and Fawriel simultaneously raised an eyebrow. Uberbob applauded.
"What was that?" the brown rabbit asked.
"Saving. So we come back here if we all die. You know?" It felt really strange defending this action.
"No... think I would have noticed something like that."
"Eh. So, you don't need that shotgun, right?"
The rabbit looked at the shotgun. "No, I guess not. It's out of ammo, though. And kind of bloody."
"But it isn't nailed down!" Uberbob pointed out, pocketing the weapon.

"Okay guys. Let's let the poor plot device die and go look around." Faw, Shuri, Uberbob, and I walked back into the store and met up with L33tz4n. She seemed slightly more disturbed by the blood covered room than the rest of us. "It's just like The Shining, only... well, real. And probably a sign of our impending messy deaths," I encouraged her. It didn't help much, strangely.
I pushed open the door and walked into what was once the main plaza of Placespot. It was entirely abandoned, and all the buildings were shrouded with a thick layer of snow.
"Anyone here?" I called out, walking past one of the frost-covered statues that once decorated the center of Upper Placespot. Suddenly, an icy tentacle burst forth from the snow and wrapped itself around my leg. "Ambush! Everyone kill stuff!" A crystalline, eyeless head emerged from the snow and looked down at me hungrily. For one second my life flashed before my eyes, and I was disappointed to notice it was essentially G-Rated.
Just when all hope seemed lost (more than usual, even), a rumble shook the ground. Then another. An earsplitting roar pierced the air, and my attacker turned its head to find the cause. Shards of ice flew dangerously about as the misshapen, overmuscled form of an 8-foot tall monkey crashed bodily into the creature. Furious the Monkeyboy, the Superubermegatropolis "superhero" that kind of helped us earlier, had evidently returned to try his hand helping again.
"DEATH TO YOU, LESS EVIL CREATURES," cried the voice of the overweight Mexican woman who was widely known as the Ultimate Evil in the universe. A sexy flying hotrod docked on the edge of Placespot and Grandma Conquista jumped out, flaming battleaxe in hand. Scholar Sam was in the car too, and looked fully ready to kill stuff.
A whirring noise echoed through the snow-blanketed landscape, followed by the clicking noise of megawarp coordinates being entered. Fooruman and his canoe crashed into the snow. The old man stood up, held the paddle high above his head and called out "EEEEEEeUUUUUUuuuUUULLAAAALLLIIIIIIAAAAA!!!", then noticed the confused stares from friend and foe alike and stopped.
"Wow, it's like a family reunion, only none of us are related," Uberbob observed.
"Kind of overkill, in my opinion," I said. Sadly, I spoke too soon. The ground began to crack below us, scattering the party. More snake-like creatures poured out from the ground. A screeching noise filled the air and a towering, frosty figure rose from the snow - not a figure of a man, but a figure of a tree! Solstice the Christmas Tree, to be specific.
Shuriken, the sole survivor of our last encounter with Solstice, backed behind the statue. The tree looked different this time - with a new sprite and swirly icicle decorations that could only stand for POWER!

Anyway...

It takes them five tries to beat Perfect Solstice. Click here to skip to when they finally win, or just go to page 37.

To learn how to BATTLE, look back at the first 7 pages. Some clarifications/changes this time (I still advise reading the first post and page or so):

-=- ONE spell per turn still stands, with the exception of things involving Unload Mana.
-=- You can move the same turn you are raised. Originally you couldn't, but Risp or someone fixed it.
-=- If Sam casts Unload Mana, he can cast other spells that same turn as well as, on future turns, cast spells after other people do. His defense halves each time, though.
-=- Furious is immune to magic. Risp never made a way to display if characters were immune. Blame Risp.
-=- Spells can target anywhere and require no Line of Sight
-=- You still can't walk across dead people, and Summons don't leave corpses.
-=- Attacking counts as a move, and ends your movement.
-=- Spell colors are: Blue is Araches/L33tzen, Red is Shuri, White is Faw/Uberbob, Black is Sam, Purple is Fooruman, and that yellowish black color is Conquista.
-=- I know some people are facing the wrong way. Direction is a sign of team. It makes these circular formations hard.
-=- if you blur your eyes these bullets look like rice
-=- I'm staying out of the strategy thread again. Use it as needed. In fact, I'm even going to link to it:

Solstice: Attack Succubus.
The rest: Defend.

Hrrrrrmmmm. Strategy, strategy.
We don't know our enemies.. we seem to have the advantage in numbers, so I guess the enemy must have some pretty mean spells or other stuff.....
And the fact that our team is so big just makes it hard to keep track of stuff...

Anyway, for the first round, being strategic isn't easily possible without knowledge of our enemies. So I guess we'd best acquire some by picking up an "attack while staying alive as long as possible" strategy. Which is, of course, the most obvious one.

Some thoughts, though:
-There are a bunch of power-up spells, some that even seem to work permanently. If they do, using them early would be advisable.
-Leetzy/Araches must be defended since they have awesome spells but are weak. The statue plus "Manifest Density" would make a good defense. Maybe Furious could serve as a half-barrier half-attacker, too.
-Jim. Heh.

You'd be amazed how small and limiting it seems after you playtest the battle a half dozen times.

@Cooba: You only get one spell a turn, and you can't both move/attack and defend in a turn.

Cooba asked for clarification on something. Furious CAN be raised, as can people with Anti Magic cast on them.

L33tz4n calls a mighty Mythslayer forth from some horror novel somewhere
Araches/L33tz4n defends
Furious violently tackles Ice Hydra. (8 damage)
Scholar Sam defends
Furious the Monkeyboy is bitten by an Ice Hydra. (6 damage)

Shuriken is bitten by an Ice Hydra. (6 damage)
The succubus sends a frosty chill down Shuriken's spine. (4 damage)
Shuriken dies
Faw/Uberbob are bitten by Jim the Ice Hydra. (6 damage)
Perfect Solstice casts Legacy, and the power of two thousand years of history focus into his trunk. Solstice gets decursed, gets healed fully, and permanently gains teleportation and double defense!
Frosty thorns tear into Faw/Uberbob's skin! (7 damage)
