How would we regret trading a spell regenerating 10HP for a spell giving the target additional 10HP to its maximum amount?

Well, we could TECHNICALLY trade in somebody else's spell so Faw could keep both healing spells... wouldn't really know which, though.

Meh. We already have Fooruman's +15 Heal, the First Aid Kit and of course Defender. Having a fourth healing spell (which would be the weakest one among all the others) would be a little overkill.

It isn't the official ending because I say so and I have more authority over this matter then you do.

Oh, and my semi-official statement on this matter- Radium is doing something else right now. Besides being lazy. I'm hoping he will DM again soon, too, but so far constant nagging has done nothing.

Hiya kids. Radium, at long last, agreed to let me DM again. Before the fun begins, I have a few things to say.

1. I'm taking two AP classes this semester, and therefor I don't have time to update as much as I use to. Two or three updates a day is gonna be the norm. Don't complain/argue/protest.

2. This puzzle is hard. Like, really hard. Even after Rad explained it to me, I'm not totally sure I understand it, and he hasn't dug up the solution yet. Luckily for me, there's no way you're gonna solve it any time soon, so we're just gonna wing it until then. Don't worry, everything's gonna be okay. =D

Now then, as for the spell trade, it stands as thus:
Lose:
Haste (Shuri)
Poison
Fysics Phailure
Heal (Faw)
Randomtackemanashackle
Bloodlust
Ramming Speed

Gain:
Feat
Biohazard
Disbalance
Defender
Animate Dead
Quantum Squaredance
Custard's Last Stand

Is everyone okay with that, or do you want to mindlessly argue over it for a little while?

"Ay, ye won' regret it!" said Fox as he enthuisiastically shook my hand. The markings on his pile of scrolls suddenly vanished as new ones appeared on his rolls of blank parchment. I felt the power to perform the Haste spell vanish, but suddenly I felt like I could now jump from one skyscraper to another while wielding a gun in one hand and a sword in the other. As strange as it sounds, the sensation seemed oddly familiar.
"Let's go do stuff now," said Uberbob. "There's adventure to be had, items to be found, and Araches to be fondling!"
Leetzan scowled at him, but he didn't seem to notice, as he was now poking around the large stone door to the North. Mysterious glowing runes lined the sides of its arch, just like the ones we encountered on the one-way door of Unfooruman's lair. I stepped up to the doorway; as I approached, I felt a cold wind on my back. It almost seemed to be pushing me in. I couldn't see very far beyond the doorway, but something was telling me not to go in.
"Let's go in!" exclaimed Uberbob.
"Shouldn't we think about it first?" Fawriel inquired nervously. "This is one of those situations where a second opinion seems-."
"A fine point, my loyal ferrety friend," Uberbob interrupted. "Fooruman, dazzle us with your wisdom!"
"In the end, we are all like Mr. Magoo," the archmage declared. "When we can't see, we call walls 'ma'am.'"
"That sounds like a 'yes' to me!" said Uberbob. Before anyone could stop him he walked through the door. The rest of us weren't so eager.

I decided that we might as well follow Uberbob onward. "Come on," I told the party. "Let's just go already."
The five of us stepped through the mystical gateway, leaving Fox and the handle-less door behind. After walking through the wide stone hallway for a few minutes, I started to notice a faint glow from up ahead. Also, the farther we progressed through the hall, the more frost appeared on the walls. I was getting really freaking tired of ice by now, but I tried to ignore it.
At last, we emerged from the frosty hallway and found ourselves in a huge, dome-shaped room. The top of the dome was at least 60 feet high, and the walls and floor were covered in a thick layer of ice. I could see in a few places where some sort of inscription had been on the walls before they were frozen, but I couldn't make out what it had been. There were three new doors in this room, evenly spaced, leading West, North, and East, though the Northen door was noteably more ellaborate than the other two, and the room of the other side of it seemed to be glowing. In the center of the room was a large fountain, about 20 feet high, with a complex geometric pattern covering its sides and a huge glowing sphere on the top. The sphere covered the room in a soft, blueish light. Oddly, the water in the fountain was not frozen, possibly due to some sort of heating system.
"Pretty," I heard Leetzan mutter under her breath.
Indeed, it did look very shiney and neat, but as usual the moment was soon ruined.
"It's cold as hell in here," Araches groaned, rubbing her hands together to warm them up.
"Hell isn't cold, you know," I said.
"It's just an expression, hon."
All her whining was starting to get on my nerves, but then again, at least she wasn't flirting with me... yet.
"BOO!" Uberbob shouted, jumping out from behind the fountain with his arms raised. Everyone stared at him silently. He laughed to himself and said, "Don't worry, it's just me. Uberbob." He then glanced around the room, shivered and said, "This place feels... uncool. Like something's trying to pull out my soul-" he paused, then added, "through my butt."
Apparently, Uberbob was sensing the same evil force as I was. Considering how weak his magical powers were, anything he could sense had to be very, very powerful.

You never lost it. Uberbob has it right now, and you're controlling Shuri. You could always try to start another, but it would probably end up just being "balled up pants".

For some reason, a brief flicker of insanity filled me with the desire to take off my pants and add them to the bundle of useless junk that Uberbob had been carrying around since the day we met. Thankfully, I was able to overcome it, and came up with some slightly more sensible actions.
First and foremost, I looked West. There was an ice-covered wall, with a doorway leading into a dark hallway. Not very exciting.
I then got an idea. "Araches, try slinging a fireball at the walls to melt the ice."
Araches whipped up a fireball out of thin air, and slung it against the wall. Not only did the ice not melt, but the fireball bounced back and nearly fried us into oblivion. It bounced around the icey walls a few more times before eventually landing in the fountain, where it was extinguished.
"That was... different," the sorceress said in a confused tone. "Like the ice is magic-proof."
"A foul power resides within these walls," Fooruman declared, dramatically raising his arms in the air. "A teleportation ward seems to be in place, as well. We're stuck here, much like this beard is stuck to my chin." He gave a sharp tug on his beard, as if trying to demonstrate this point, but ended up pulling out a large wad of silvery-gray hair.
Feeling as though I would surely snap if we stayed in this room much longer, I lead the party through the highly ellaborate northern doorway. We arrived in another dome-shaped room, much larger than the last, with no floor except for a strange glowing walkway. It reached about 30 feet out and met up with an immense icy wall on the other side. There was no visible ground on either side of the walkway; stepping off it probably meant death. The walkway was also the only source of light in the room. Across from us, the walkway dead-ended with the icy wall, though I could see some sort of engraving in its side.
Without even thinking, I walked onto the eerie glowing platform and examined the engraving. It was a poem. Kind of.

time passes as one approaches the end
a step forward can take any form
outside it matters that face of the commands stay constant
there is no reason at all to be on the edge of caution
before you move, the point is simply to face left

Below this was a carving.

Looking beyond the ice wall, I could just barely make out the word "Save" printed on something behind it. The wall wasn't transparent enough for me to get a better view, though.

Lean over the edge of the platform and try to examine the bottom of it.
Then go back south to the party, tell Faw to write the poem down on something, then lead them west.

I got down on my hand and knees and looked over the edge of the platform. All I could see below me was darkness. It appeared to be your stereotypical bottomless pit.
As I climbed back to my feet I noticed Araches staring at me with a lustful look in her eyes. I raised an eyebrow and said (as threatingly as I could), "Want to make that your last look?"
"I could do a lot worse, sexcakes," she replied with a wink.
I reached for my katana, almost involuntarily, then remembered that she was the only one among us with any real skill in the dark arts, and that it would be best to keep her alive. Also, all things considered, I wasn't so sure I could take her...
Overlooking her sexual harrassment for the time being, I led the group back South into the fountain room.
"Fawriel," I said, "Write down that poem on something."
"What poem?" he asked.
"That poem that was on the ice wall!"
"There was a poem on the ice wall?"
I was about to yell at him further, then remembered that only I had actually looked at the wall. I also noticed that I had somehow become leader again, and as per usual, had started acting more like... someone else.
"Fawriel, go back and write down the alleged poem!" Uberbob commanded. Fawriel shrugged, then obliged.
"You ought to treat him with more respect than that," said Leetzan. "Both of you."
"You're only saying that because he saved you life," Uberbob pointed out. "I saved your life, too."
"Yeah," Leetzan replied, "but that was a long time ago..."
She look down at her tail, letting her hair fall over her face. I couldn't tell if she was angry, or feeling something completely different.
"Back," said Fawriel as he returned, sketchbook in hand.
"WB!" Fooruman exclaimed.
No one even bothered to stare awkwardly at him this time. We seemed to have become immune to his weirdness.
The six of us then headed West, into a completely empty room. It was dome-shaped like the other two, and just as icey. To the North and South were two doors, each with a faint glow on the other end.
"Booooriiing," said Uberbob.
I was about to give him my standard scowl of nonverbal hatred, but something suddenly caught my eye. I thought I saw a huge black figure, moving around beneath the ice like a fish in water, just to my left. I quicky glanced over at it, but nothing was there. That strange feeling of approaching doom was coming back to me.

I suddenly had a brief lapse of obessive compulsive disorder and ran back East and North. I quickly ran up to the ice wall, touched it, then ran back and rejoined my comrades. They stared at me confusedly.
"What was that about?" Araches inquired.
"I just felt like touching that wall again," I replied. "It seemed like a good idea at the time." All eyes remained fixed on me, and in a desperate attempt to break the silence I added, "Now let's go South."
We walked South into yet another icey, dome-shaped room. The floor was glowing, much like the floating platform in the room with the poem and mysterious carving. It was as if we were standing on a giant tanning bed, though the ground was just as cold as the rest of the room.
Peering around the room, I noticed two small, gem-like objects on the ground. Upon further inspection, I saw that one was shaped like a solidified teardrop, while the other seemed to be shaped like a strange, puffy triangle. The edges of it were rounded, but it had three distinct points like a normal triangle.
"Hey, lookit this!" I heard Leetzan call our from across the room.
We quickly huddled around her to see what she had found. In her hand, she was holding a small sales reciept from the Home Depot.
"It was just lying on the floor," Leetzan explained. "We1rd, huh?"
I took the reciept from her and examined it. It merely said: "Door: $1000900.99 QTY: 1"

I pocketed the receipt without a second thought, then turned to Leetzan and said, "The price of the door in hexadecimal is 5F740F3. Is that of any significance."
Leetzan stared back blankly. "Maybe?" she replied after a prolonged silence.
I couldn't tell if she had been thinking or confused. Either way, I was getting nowhere. I led the group Northward into the empty room, then North again. This new room had a dome-shaped roof and a glowing floor, exactly like the last one, and it also contained mysterious gemstones. There were four gems this time: two were shaped like tetrahedrons, one was shaped like a cylinder, and the forth was shaped like a cube.
"More shapes?" said Uberbob in a put-off tone. "If I wanted to stare at shapes all day I would have been a geometrist. Where's Blackraptor?"
Indeed, I wondered the same thing. I looked to Leetzan, who seemed to be pondering the significance of the gems as much as I was. Like the rest of us, however, she too seemed stumped.
