I'm strangely inspired to make a levelpack.

A Single Player levelpack, that is. Not that I have any particular ideas, storyline, or whatever, I just feel this huge urge to make one. And I also have this great desire to make the levelpack with someone. So...what should I do?

Who should I force to do all my work make it with? I for some reason do not want to make the levelpack solo, as you would've seen if you'd actually read my post.

I know. I can cooperate, but I'm not too great in levelmaking.

If you can't find anyone, or only have the not-so-good ones left, just do it yourself because you'll have full control over everything in the SP Pack. If you really want too, just ask one of the best levelcreators and if that doesnt' work, go to the pretty good ones etc...

Make something completely different. I'd like to see something other than the usual follow-the-storyline-do-puzzles-kill-enemies type gameplay.

Well, I've already started work on it, and it's going to be non-linear, with non-typical gameplay elements.

So far everyone who has said that wound up not finishing the pack/turning it linear, but good luck nonetheless.

Eh, I'm not sure yet. I already have a very rough idea of a storyline, and I'm trying to use as many JJ1 tilesets as I can. I know for sure I'll be using Medivo, but that's about it.

Well, what else would it be for?

I think that technically you can play it in the demo version (just do a little file renaming), but...

...I'm unsure of what you are trying to get at. It's 1.23, anyway.

If only other people had 1.25, it would be for that.

Have you thought of a story yet?

When this is uploaded to J20 I'll probably try to make some SP levels..Although currently the one I'm making is making no progress at all..

If you like I can show you my personal (unreleased) version of Medivo. It's not a 100% accurate conversion but it doesn't have any of the nasty bugs like flashing rain or lamps from the (AFAIK) latest released version.

I have a conversion already that works pretty well for what I need. If yours has better-masked spikes then I could probably use it.

Better masked? As in solid block, or what? I use about the same partial mask as CelL does.

Yes, as in full block. Otherwise, the player can pretty much cheat past all of the wall/ceiling spikes by buttstomping repeatedly.
