I have noticed that there is alot of unused User names on the Jazz 2 Online downloads section. It is hard to look up certian information on downloads, people, etc.. So might i suggest cleaning all the unused Handles. Also with the JCF too.

Read the link Trafton provided. It clearly states that many people will want to return to the forums later and would be very unhappy if the accounts were deleted.

The JCF has been around since 2001, so the topic was relevant back then too. This would cause problems with those who posted a few times. It's not a major concern and, with recent instabilities, is better safe than sorry.

Obviously I'm not a JCF admin, but that's been the past sentiment anyway.

I think let the accounts stay, because who would decide what accounts to close and which to keep? What if you close an account of some oldie who later on wishes to return? You'd also be deleting a part of j2o's history ;(

Send them a e-mail. And its not just JCF J2O has alot of bogus/ Non-used accounts,Why cant they be deleted?

You can delete my double J2O accounts, "Fl@$h", "Fl@$h the real one" and "Flash". That's 3 already!

In reponse to Trafton: That thread proves absolutely nothing. If you fear that people might be obsessed over having to spend an extra minute sign up again, you can just send emails warning those members that if they do not use their account in any kind (not logging in within 2 months or so) they will lose it. You'd have incredible much space and actually get an idea of how many members we have.

I think the only ones that should be deleted are those ones that nobody actually posted with. Not an original sentiment, but I never did care much for originality.

I wouldn't have any problem with that, but right now I don't hear much about space being a huge concern. I'm also not sure that such accounts take up so much space. An admin who has any idea what he is talking about (i.e. not me) might want to answer from a technical view.
