Spy stuff

I found this in the spy when I was hosting a server:

MOO!
or here

What's this ( the stuff in the circle)?

That is nothing new.

A client automatically times out of the server when there is no data being recieved (or trouble sending) from it in thirty seconds. That is why people "time out".

You can also change a setting in your registry so it runs all the time.

Yea, that's just when somebody looses their connection or pings out from the server.

I think if you run Jazz2 with -spy once, it'll continue to start spy mode untill you specify -no spy or whatever.

Yup, that output lets you know if someone has been timed out for some reason: Client's connection has been interrupted, or the client's ISP has problems responting back to their customers. <-- I hate this reason so much!

If the server sees many of that message in his Spy window all at the same time, your ISP "knocked you out". <-- I hate that, too.

ISPs suck

ISPs suck. They never do you any good. All SWBell has brought me *grumbles* is a lot of hassles. And guess who is always the one who has to call tech support (or simply ask Alberto )?
ME.

Does anyone know what causes this problem though?

I have my server running. My brother signs on a game in Starcraft.
Everyone gets ejected from the server. My brother gets dropped.

It has never happened before earlier today. It was pretty weird.

The AntiMcDonalds forums have turned into the JCF. Now includes the "spontaneous corrupt" feature.

(That was a fanchy smanchy way of saying that the forums are broked. AND IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT TOO.)

This is why I visit local LAN parties in my area: The beautiful glory of reliable, pingless (about under .030) multiplayer games! ^_^
