Exit level

I use either xjj2 or jazzforce to start a coop game .. but can't I play the original episodes with a friend coop ?

If I start for example the castle level coop (the first of the first episode for single player) we can both join and play the level but at the end it just stops, it doesn't load the next level...

Am I doing something wrong ?

There is something you can do. Use my program Called Project Controller 4 and first host a coop game and then change the game type to single player using controller 4. This will allow you to load the next level when someone reaches the exit. Remember always to set to single player BEFORE anyone joins or they will also have to rejoin because they will still get the old coop game type. AND REMEMBER TO SET YOUR SERVER TO PRIVATE! Because switching to single player also enables jj2 cheats and you don't want some idiot to come to your server and start lasering all around.

Hi again, well it didn't work out.. I downloaded your program, started a jazz coop server on the castle map using Jazzforce, then alt tabbed before anyone joined and launched control4 and did a "detect all", then I changed the gametype to single player and did a "save all" ..

Then I said to my friend he could join and alt tabbed back to the game, waited till he was thee and we played the level but again at the exit it just did nothing, it didn't go to the next level

Erm you don't need to "Detect all" and "Save all". Just click the save icon next to an option you want to change. It didn't work you say??? Weird. It worked for me fine. P.S. You can always use cheat codes (jjnext) to switch the level. If the game type is single player the cheats should work. If not then use Controller 4 to skip the level: Control button => Skip level. Hope this works.

Well I tried using the "jjnext" cheat and if I use it when we are both at the end of the level, I as server go to the next level but the client gets disconnected, when he tries to rejoin we are invisible to each other..

Also if the client needs to rejoin he of couse looses everything he has incl score ...

isn't there a way to just simply play the original game in coop exactely like it woul be a regular single player game ... cause to be honest the coop I've seen from those launchers (jazzforce and xjj2) seems buggy to say the least
