I just invented a (I think) new gametype. I call it:

Frog Season
This is played in CTF. Half of the players are transformed to frogs. The others stay as rabbits. The object is for the frogs to last as long as possible while the hunters try to kill the frogs. Last remaing frog is the winner. Now don't DARE steal this! But I want feedback before I make a level. And don't just say "it's a sucky idea!". I want ACTUAL feedback.

I have the sneaking suspicion this doesn't work in MP. But, if it does, I think you have an interesting new gametype idea.

You'd have to host it in cooperative, then once everyone was there, change it to Battle. But other then that, it would work.

Well I imagine it would have a waiting room with carrots before the game starts (like Gladiator). And if this is similar to another gametype I didn't know about it. I considered birds, but I decided on frogs.

Birds would require highly customized levels. Use frogs.

Birds and frogs can't do anything with a CTF base, it disappears or something.

There was a reason what I said. Frog morphs only work in Coop. Birds would be easier.

You sure about that, Unknown? I'm pretty sure frog morphs work in CTF too. And there won't be any CTF bases.

That could be strategy though. The bird can fly away from one hunter, but the only way to do that is to go to a part of the level where it is vulnerable by others. I personally think that birds would be better.

Yes, but birds could fly out of possible reach.

Not if the level is properly designed.

You stoled my idea with birds, I made an incredibly crappy level where you are birds and rabbits. It didn't get that much of a good rating at J2O, but I saw others hosting it in jj2..

As you can see, it was uploaded "1-3-01"...therefore, it is crap, and its my idea despite the levels crappyness.

KJAZZ had a similar "Bird Hunt" level, but it wasn't done very well (it was long ago, when KJAZZ was new.) It's still innovative.

Did anyone think about game-fun?
Birds are too slow and hard to stear,it wou'ld be really frustrating for them!

I hate controlling birds. They are way too slow to use to evade attacks or run.

If I were to continue the idea, I'd be forced to use birds, cause frogs don't work. Unless, of course, there's an MCE or J2HG can hack it...
