Well, the game turned out better than I would have expected, MUCH better.

My only complaints would be the lack of continuity between this and the other games, as this story is either parallel to or many years after JJ1 and 2. There's no mention of Eva, and Jazz is not a bounty hunter, but more of an agent. The way I see it, he either divorced Eva, or this takes place before he met her, but he's chasing after some different cottontail.

The other being that this adventure, (like so many other GBA titles), was destined to be cut short. Well, not extremely short, but there was only 24 levels my first time around. Let's face it. When you're playing your GBA, it's usually because you're stuck in some situation where you don't have access to any better system, so most GBA games tend to be short and sweet, not some 32 hour+ epic. I have, however, noticed that some levels have multiple exits, which branch off into different levels. one time I ended up in the sewer level, the next, I went straight from the rabbit space station to Devan's fortress on Icebox3. That's just one example, but I'm sure that there's more alternate paths that I am yet to come accross.

Due to these, I can't give it a perfect score, so I'll give it the next best thing: 9

I still can't get past the 2nd level of the 3rd stage.

/me stinks at video games

Anyway, although it doesn't play like the other Jazz games, it's a great game. I rated it 7.

Kinda came up between me and Shadow that this "Jazz" (in the GBA game) probably is our beloved hero's great grandson.
That would easily work out all the continuity problems.

Not to mention making the Eva thing easier to cope with... /\/\
(you know me, I was willing to give this game a try all up until they made that unfortunate mistake. I still will give it a try... however, only when it's price is reduced to $19.95)

And there was much rejoicing...

I'm still waiting on my copy. EB doesn't seem to have it yet, over here in Springfield, Oregon. D'oh! I do like the sound on the video files I downloaded, though, but the graphics could be better.

(what are realistic lizards doing in Jazz, yet Jazz is drawn lower quality?)

from the seven votes, we get an average jazzer rating of 6.4 out of a possible 10... One could say it rates above average

Game is funny, full of action, with good music... but it's short and some graphics look like a Jazz-fan (not elite one, average one) made them. Anyway, the action is something like Jazz Jackrabbit + Metal Slug + Duke Nukem 3D. The Dark Shell is very comedial character. You've seen that red "Do Not Press" button on his armor? When you shoot it, his pants fall of and he cries mangally. And one of his texts:

"Here are my three steps of Jazz's doom!
..........
..........
Wait a second, I wrote it on a napkin somwhere...
Ah yes! One: Kidnap Zoe Cottontail and hide on Chelonia IV;
Two: Wait for Jazz as he gets to you in his spaceship;
Three: Destroy Jazz and become the master of universe!!!!
Mwahahahahahahaha!!!
Mwahahahahahahaha!!!
Mwahahahahahahaha!!!
<>"

Like it? There are much more of texts like this. Just play the game!
