Noname on internet

This noname is abusing me! It's hacking me by making his name the same name as mine in internet play. It's still a noname! By this moment, it's making other people can't see what i typed! Only his typed words can let servers and others see. At that moment, i saw another me on there, but talking in my line that I never typed. Example,

Mazinkaiser: I am an alien
Mazinkaiser: I didn't say that.

For some reason, it calls me mortal.

There's a different:
Mazinkaiser: I am an alien
Mazinkaiser: I didn't say that.
The noname will always chat with a little space before anything.

Just some joker making fun of you. This has nothing to do with . They could do it to anyone, probably they just didn't like you. Your computer is still perfectly safe. It's not very hard to do.

Everyone can still see what you say. You are not being controlled at all. It's really not very significant

Mazinkaiser, I told you I was the no-name when I joined your forum! I said I was not hacking you, just trying to get you into a private server so I can talk to you about something. When I came in the server, you started threatning my life if I did not tell you how to be a no-name! I believe this thread is just an attempt to find out my name, which I said that if you found out, I would tell you how to become a no-name. I never hacked you and told all the players while you were gone what was happening. My username is above, but I am not telling you the no-name trick after you threatened to kill me and my loved ones.

k, lemme clear this up. The noname is true, actually, it's invisible aswell. Not lag or anything, because I asked a number of other people to join and they all saw the same thing.

Funny, when I saw it it didn't talk, but any event said in the bottom the person with the noname will actually show up in the name of the user of the computer.

Let's say that me, defalcon, and the noname is in the server and killed someone and the noname killed defalcon (), then I would see on my screen:
Dishguise[GpW] roasted DefalconLJ,
and defalcon would see on his screen:
You were roasted by DefalconLJ

Of course it's pretty weird, but don't worry, when they say somehting bad nobody else will think you said it because it looks liek they actually said it

Apart from that, back to the invisible thing, yes, the character itself is invisible, but any event attacked to the character is still visible. If you see a flag flying around by its own, or maybe a carrot, ammo, or powerup vanishing into thing air, then you know the person used it. Also, any ammo shot from the player can also be seen.

Heh, it's pretty funny though, I was as confused as it gets when I saw it first time, but after figuring a few stuff out it made more sense.

Oh, apart from that, whoever is using it takes up TONS of spaces, there can only be like 3 or so players in an 8 player server.

Oh well, that's about it, death to trainers and all that, they should all die.

Mazin, this has absolutely, positively NOTHING to do with being hacked or haxored or whatever it is you always complain about. This is just someone that has a blank name impersonating you to get under your skin. The best way to deal with something like this is ignore the no-namer.

[IRRITATED]
Every time I see this Mazin guy, he's complaining about being hacked or haxored. I always ask him what's wrong; he says about the no-namer; I say that is not hacking or haxoring; he ignores that and repeats that he is being hacked or haxored.

If you change your name to something like

Måzinkaiser

He wont be able to copy that, because of the å. Well, he will, but it's quite a hassle.

Cool

Trafton, you don't have to be a noname to convince to me to talk about something private. You could just ask if I wanted to do it or not. Next time, don't try to do that, it freaks people out or they won't play Jazz Jackrabbit 2 anymore. I wasn't trying to scare your loved ones, I was trying to tell you something. (Some people have to know this)

Hmmm, didn't I just say that it shows the name of the person using the machine?

You can have as many ascii characters and colours in your name and it will still show it exactly like your name. Heck, the noname doesn't even appear on the namelist when you press F9. Only way you notice if it's there is if you accidently kill them, see events dissapearing into thin air, see shooting come out of thin air, look at games in progress like the place on J2O and see more people listed there than there is in the actual server, or when your name (EXACTLY like your name) appears on the events at the bottom when you didn't actually do it (beware of the stray seeker thing).

Hmmm, judging at Overlord's post, I do sense a bit of tweaking from his behalf, I could be wrong though

Stiletto thats on another incident, where the player only has to edit the registry to get an invisible name, that happens all the time, but what I'm talking about is a different situation...

Oh well, Defalcon is my one witness, there were some other ppl that saw that weird thing aswell, but yeah, that's the story
