Thumbs down Dialup Icon Problem (NonJJ2Related)

Kinda strange wats goin on here...

well in the taskbar, you know the dialup icon that blinks every time something happens (like when you send and recieve data) is having a strange icon problem...

First, when both sending and reciving blink, i get a dns2go icon in place of the dialup icon (returns back to normal after stops sending and reciving), and gets a aim icon sometimes (not sure when)

does anyone know why this is happening?

Does the internet still work?

What OS are you using?

If you are on windows 98, it could be related to my wrong icon thing, where when the computer is low on resources (almost always), the winzip icon will really be a j2l file and other things just go wrong. Windows is messed up.

Yes...I've had icon problems too in the past. It is probably just the icon bug in windows (icons get all messed about, like what Dizzy said).

It could also be an API problem (they might somehow have the same window handle or something).

Does this happen WHEN you are running dns2go and aim?
