Question about lvl making.

How do you put things in the fore and background?
Every time I do it, it comes out all weird, and it starts shifting when I walk by it...

..of course it moves if you walk by it. That's the illusion of perspective, you know.

If you want the layers to move at the same speed as Layer 4, set X and Y speeds to 1. If you want them to not move at all (in relation to the screen, not Jazz), set X and Y speeds to 0.

Yeah, they but walls I want Jazz to walk by, they just detach themselves from the floor and start sliding...

Exclamation Layer 3 glitch

That's a common thing: for one reason or another layer 3 doesn't have layer 4's speeds set as a standard... Just change the relative X and Y speeds to 1 in the layer proporites.

A reminder to clear all misunderstandings (ok, so I'm bored too, who cares )

Jazz 2 supports a total of 8 layers: 2 foreground layers (1 and 2), 4 background layers (5 to 8) and 2 player layers (3 and 4). In low detail, only layer 3,4 and 8 are shown.

You know, I find it interesting that I give you the answer, you kind of ignore it, JelZe gives you the same answer and you accept it.
