Strange XP/2000 List server bug

I install Jazz2 onto my friend's Win 2000 computer, and when i went to do the list server fix in the registry, the list server folder inside the jazz2 folder was not there! Same thing goes for my XP computer. So, would adding the folder and the keys damage anything?

Thanks!

(oh and by the way, i'm stereo sound... )

Nope.. it'll work.

And I'm almost certain the listserver keys aren't there in any OS by default..

You have to run the game a few times and let it create the keys.

Actually, I have Windows 2000, and in Win 2000, there are MANY jj2 keys. I am not exactly sure how to get to the correct one, but dig around, just don't delete anything.

If you want it to be a bit more obvious, start JJ2, start multiplayer, name/colour your rabbit from the 'default' stuff, and act as if you're joining a server, then click out of it. Go back to the registry and player 0, 1, 2, 3 and so on should now be under 'Epic Megagames> JazzJackrabbit2> 1.23.

Remember list server stuff is under "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE" and not "HKEY_CURRENT_USER" (where the rest of the stuff is).
