Help ( Tileset Problem )

I use PSP 5 and 7 but i hate 7 now anyways when i come to make it i have the grid right but when it comes to that transparent purpuley colour it never works for that stupid purple colour is behind the tiles when i use them on jj2 and when i use black it disappears and doesnt come onto the tileset

Ok, let me phrase your question a different way.

"I can't find how to get anything transparent. By the way, black is transparent."

The purple color is only transparent in JCS. For the actual image, use 0,0,0 (actually, the two colors on the top left of your palette are the transparent ones, but 0,0,0 is usually one, if not both of them) for the transparent color. For non-transparent black, use something Close to that, such as one of the darkest shades of the sprite colors.

Which one could it be for the none transparent black

Anything you like, as long as it's not 0,0,0 (or very close to it). 7,7,11, say.
