Now usually I don’t play jj2 much anymore but since I was just curious I’ll give a short review :):
Well this Tileset has more or less the same drawing-style like Desperate Cry. I don’t really know how you say it but it just looks a bit simple-drawed. It’s a bad thing you don’t give your tilesets a 3D-Style and more gradients (especially the ground-tiles). But at the other hand its still suprises me how you can bring up nice levels from the tilesets you make :D. Therefor I think the tileset is way more better then above average. So here a 8 from me. Go live with it :P Btw, Im looking forward for a new tileset…
Looks nice to me. Most of the basic stuff are all in it the Tileset. Extra stuff like mountains and textures, all there. The colours only irritated it me a bit, blue, black and similiar colours. But I can understand you have made this for Skulg so I will shutt up. ;P An eight from me and a download recommendation.
Pretty neat, the bestest thing about the program are the graphics I suppose. Anyway furthermore it has an easy and fast to use the interface. Some missing features though wich I would expected. But this is fine either.[This review has been edited by Super Saiyan]
@ TSF Dragon:
hurray I got an idiot reviewing my level!
Listen: Extract the stuff into your jazz2 folder, then go open JJ2 go to Single player and then to homecooked levels and then select Saiyan82 and play it. Ok?
But if I was you I would go to Multiplayer and host it with flags for better performance.[This review has been edited by Super Saiyan][This review has been edited by Super Saiyan]
What are you people? Crazy? Seesh, if you guys think you can build something better with 40 tiles than try it. This Tileset SHOULD NOT GET A RATING LOWER THAN 5.5 if you ask me, it HAS the standard basics in it AND the graphics look all fine. So shutt up.
Something more for fun. Perhaps its not really worth a rating. Its just DW but then a bit more smaller.
Well Red, it look long but its finally here, huh. As I should not rate one of my levels Ill just stick up with the rest in the pack. All I have to say is, youve done an outstanding job dude :D Each level has something special in it and I like it. Eyecandy, Weapon Placement, Enemy Placement and Music, theyre all FINE! My compliments for all the authors. And a download recommendation from me. Ow yeah dont forget the warm rating, good thing its christmas for you :p
Edit: People, check out the Flash page, its awesome :)[This review has been edited by Super Saiyan]
Howly ****, Ill have to admit, this is a heck better then the tileset Disguise and Mirrow maid for me!$%^&*&^$%^$#%&
Well I dont have much to say, all of the graphics are darn perfect wich makes the game enjoyabe. There is nothing wrong with the masking and the included example single player level is very well too.
I also have to say, this is really ONE of the bestest tilesets ever. Good work and a DoWnLoAd ReCoMmEnDaTiOn!
Well, looks nice to me, I wanted something like this for a long time. But perhaps you could make a better lay-out.
I-DO-LIKE-IT-,ALOT!
YAY! Thanks guys, you two rule.
I only see blocks, blocks and blocks, and some colored pipes. And dont forget about the silly heads, really all crap. Next time, if you say its not beautiful, then spend more work on the Tileset and MAKE it beautiful.
For some reason the BMP’s are empty, black.[This review has been edited by Super Saiyan]
Well, nothing left for me to say more…kicks CelL Ah well, let me just comment what I dis- and like about this level. As the beginning, the level has a very nice style, the bottom parts of the level have a nice light grassy platforms with dark background, wich well fits to each other. There is also alot of ammo on the bottom part, powerups too. You might have overused ammo there, the level is already small though. The platforms above are made from different stone tiles, there is barely ammo there and alot of place, so an excelent place to battle. The gameplay is ok, but its confusing sometimes for me, because of the lighting, it makes it all dark, the level itself is already dark enough in my opinion. But oh well, your the creator. Further more, things like music is nice too, and the base routes are fine. I think this level deserves a rating higher then eight. Well, nice made.
*I really should ask Mike about joining OLC sometime ;p
Oke I promise you, you’ll get a level out of this Tileset from me :)
Pitty, I would had appreciated it more if it was for 1.23, I dont feel like making a lvl for TSF since most people dont play it. Really, too bad. Its a very nice Tileset, worth 6 levels :)…
Nice designed level, sort of small though for a ctf level. Well check for yourself… a eight from me.
Very nice converted, this deserves a high rating :) Well done.
Honestly, this is kind of stupid. I only hear in the start ‘Are you ready?’ and then ‘Yes I am’, further the tubelectric song continues with some changes.
Well honestly its a very nice level for this Tileset. Gameplay is great, there isnt much eyecandy but it makes the level lagless, which is actually a good thing. Despite the fact you copied and flipped one side of the level to the other was maybe a bad idea. This probably means there isnt spend much work into the level, but still its a ok level for a 7.5
Honestly it isnt such quality work, there are too much block type patrons as tiles. Further I only liked the textured background and the extra stuff like spikes and the lava.
Well, its quite a small level, but I hope it can handle alot of people like you say in your description. The most thing of what I liked in this lvl was the design of it. Check yourself if you want to know what I mean, a download recommendation from me and a 8.
