a very nice balance between challenge and creativity and i think this is probably one of those level that match almost exactly in event style (e.g: the bounce wall things). When i checked this level i found no bugs. Suckatubes review states that there are bugs in this level but i havn’t seen the need to cheat out of any problems. The hyperdrive tubes fitted the theme of the level pretty well, especially when your outside in the middle of space.
From the layout of the level i can see you’ve spent some quality time on it, along with fixing bugs and mistakes.
Overall i think this level would definatly be a good first level for your level pack. Good luck and keep it up.
unfortunatly i can’t give a full review on this because i’ve only got TSF :( But what i’ll say for now is don’t give up on your level pack. Continue it, just like everyone else. Unless something else is in the way of it, you don’t need a releasing date for it, because that puts too much pressure and then people end up unable to finish making the set. But whatever you do, never give up until it’s over. You’ve made it this far, there’s no turning back, so see if you can finish off the levels somehow so that everyone gets the full taste of what it means, to play Tomb Rabbit 2.
[I’m only here to tell you that this pack works in the versions 1.23 and up. ~cooba]
EDIT: thanks for the update cooba, im definatly getting this.
it was ok i guess, but it was slow and the base was outa tune. just tune the base in and make it faster and then you’d get a better tune.
i wouldn’t really call this a remix however
aaah man. plz make a TSF version cause this sounds like a really good program. And by the way, for those who can’t get this to run properly without an access violation, you’ll need something that stops access violations from happening.
(-) just don’t do another remix of deserto. This is just horrible. Whatever you do, don’t do this again. And that high pitched electic guitar thing, whoever you got that from, wherever you got that from, don’t use that in any of you songs. It destroys them.
[Negativity edit. Bad upload or not, please be nice. ~cooba]
I guess it was alright. Could have been longer and more understandable. One thing that disappointed me was after the end of one of the levels at the loading i get an access violation saying that a level is missing or something like that. But the thing i did like was that you’ve done a diffrent and original type of single player pack.
Overall i think the story wasn’t all that epic. I usually like level packs with exciting and action type stories.
Download recommendation: Don’t know, you decide. Like or dislike, your opinion
EDIT: I’ve completed the series, forget my last review.
(Im rating this level pack but i am reviewing the whole series so far)
Evilmike i have played your whole level pack so far. I here you plan to do 5 episodes. But THIS is THE best single player series ever. No other single player i know of could rival this. The series has significantly inspired me into making my own single player. The revisiting of levels made this seem like a completely new game. I’ve never seen anything like that. The layout of Rebirth of Evil and Battle for Carrotus definatly is a key thing in this series. My most favorite levels were Deserto Orbital base, the fleet level, SWS Fencer (i can’t remember the exact name), SWS Terrapin (again i can’t remember the exact name) and Carrotus. This seems to be the whole level pack that i like but when i said Deserto Orbital Base i meant the second level in rebirth of evil.
Overall i thing that this is the number one source of entertainment. This episode is the most realistic in the series for sure.
Absolutly YES download this level pack. If you don’t then that’s just plain mad.
You know what, FORGET jazz jackrabbit in 3D. This is the REAL sequal to jazz jackrabbit 2, yes THE REAL sequal to jazz jackrabbit 2. Not jazz jackrabbit 3 or advanced. THIS level pack!
