Best use of an xlm beach set i have ever seen. Really cool abstract level design, a ner personal fav map of mine. great work. Definately downlaod this
Perfect exeuctian, wonderful utility. I have had many problems weeding out my TSF levels this was perfect.
I apparently had 103 TSF files in my folder =o !So i have played through the final release in the Ressurection of Devan Shell series, The Fortress of Ruin.
This was a very well put together single player pack, and it far tops its four preceding episodes.
Eyecandy 10/10
The eyecandy throught all the levels is excellently done, even the saving area zones look attractive, and for that i give a perfect score.
Story 10/10
The story is this final episode was very well done, in fact i would say it was the best done of all single player packs i have played up till now, and leaves you asking no questions in the end.
Level Layout and Aspects 10/10
The levels through Fortressof Ruin were very well thought out and organized, and had very cool design features. I especially liked the fortress featured throughout the levels, especially the speech interludes.
Playability 8.5/10
Overall this pack has very good playability but some parts can be very difficult, especially traversing the fortress and the 5 boss fights.
This is a very very good pack and i would 100% recommend downloading it, even if you havent played any prior episodes.
Useful tool, very fun for a challenge.
Docked marks basically for glitchyness, but it is very fun because you can switch Jazzes animations through unintentional use of this.
Other mark docked because the blaster ammo say X_X not an actual number…
Still download for a fun challenge
Very nice, very catchy i like this alot. Keep up the good work
I absolutely love this set…not only does it easily fit in and work with Jazz, it is unique, fully functional, and i just love it.
My next map is using this guarenteed.
Download this
Well we got some good, some bad and some ugly here.
Good: I love the concepts behind these and they are very fun to play, and appear as Epic would have done them
Bad: Masking is buggy in places, excessive enemies in places
Ugly: Although they work in Jazz2, most will not open through JCS{specifically Labrat1, Psych2, Psych3). AS well, there are several places where it looks like there was supposed to be tiles but they are missing.
I would rate down alot because of that, but these are both negative side effects of using ZapS’s TSF to 1.23 convertor, as for now i will assume it was converted from 1.24.
Despite this, try it out using homecooked or captain cook (or even replace in your campaign) as these are all entertaining in the classic campaign sense.
Wow….. Thats just about all i can say
Although this is not an actual map or anything, it is probably the most impressive thing i have ever seen done in Jazz Jackrabbit 2 using JCS
basically it starts, and your character navigates and does amazing manouvers, and solves some very challenging looking puzzles and tasks, and eventually after several things he defeats the queen, and even does a cleverly thought out boss battle against the robot boss.
GET THIS :
At one portion of this there is a cluster of flying lizards, he even has it timed so the stand still shooting up thing happens when they get above you and explode.
I 100% reccommend this and it deserves an extremely high rating due to its cleverness, and just pure amazement while watching.
So, as some people might be, the thought of making a TSF map into 1.23 is something you might be skeptical about, seeing as before the only option involved complicated steps through closing windows, redo animations and such and was a real pain.
This program simply put, you drag the file onto the icon and like 2 seconds later its done. This program is the perfect utility and is absoluetly well done. i 100% recommend this as a download for anyone how thinks they could use it, and maybe even those who dont.
Now I would rate this a 10, as there are no glitches, no secret twists, and no plot to end the world. I already know people are going to be all over me for this comment, but here we go. I am not to terribly fond of the adding the “#” after the filename. This is partially impractical, as the number sign appears invisible for online if you are trying to switch to a map, plus the # sign looks a bit ugly. . Overall, i would say the only thing id want changed about this wicked program, is to have it rename the output files like
So in Summary:
GREAT FILE
DOWNLOAD
Layout: 8/10
The layout is very playable, both sides are different in design but they are similar in concpet so it remains balanced.
Eyecandy :6/10
The Eyecandy is not bad at all, it is pleasent to look at, but it is not the most outstanding Eyecandy ever, and it could prob be touched up
Powerup Placement: 6.5/10
The weapons and power ups seem to be fairly well distributed, but there are only like 4 varietys or so in the map and they are just in straight lines on the path
Overall: 6.7ish/10
This is a interesting little map that while simplistic provides a fun layout to play.
I would reccomend this as a download
OTHER IMPORTANT COMMENTS:
I could not host this online with JJ2 1.24, I in fact had to use JJ2+ or i would get an error message saying the file has a problem.
Also, i found it strange that when in JCS test mode and certain game modes both flags were blue and you could not take one as you usually can in SP, with one flag only turning red once .
Very good work. I was thinking of doing these up myself soon so its great that they are done. I’ve played through them and they seem well done, and they are indeed completely playable and are great to use for learning guitar.
My only comment is on “infero(Dark Groove)”. In the Bridge, there are the 4 mini arpeggio’s. The 4th one goes is shown as 5-7-5-4, but when i play it, it does not sound right. I believe it should be 7-9-7-6.
Besides that it is a great download very much worth getting if your into guitar. i can’t wait for volume 2!
and for Crimiclown: i used the MOD sourse files to try to tab out the intro to Jazz be damned. It turns out its actually 34 notes in under 2 seconds, and the notes go about 10 half steps above the average guitars range.
edit: Yeah the intro to that is a synth lead.
Great work. No bugs, and now i can run some larger music files as well. Great job

Wow. Great story, it is quite amusing and entertaining. Good custom tilesets i especially love level one. THe internet one is simple yet creative and effective, although it lacks purple =). The puzzles in level 7 are quite creativve and challenging, and i like the homemade “boss” battle in the campaign. This was very well planned and made, and it deserves full marks.
I DEFINATELY suggest downloads
This might be the most hideous noise ive ever heard. Its barely recognisable, the guitars are offtune so the pitch is wrong, and the multiple layers of guitar and effects just worsens it.

thanks for the advice. this was mostly a test to see if the concept was good. When i made it i just used the first 10 minigames ideas i had, although i have about 25-30 to pick from for a final version. I will most likely do like 3 versions of the final product and get testers to pick out the best.
Really Great Work. This works very well and is effective, except for the fact IT CONTAINS A VIRUS!!!!!!!!!!!

I did Know that. I just think they are cool to use as alternative bosses, and I know they aren’t knew, but I haven’t seen them used very much. There is alot of cool stuff you get make usng MCE’s for thosse who know what that is.
For Kax: Is it the screen flicker effect? Part of the cuboids is the screen will go completely multicolored bars( like TV fuzz )and the more you make go berserk(kill all cubes)the more often and longer it lasts. It might be what crashes
