I’m afraid I don’t see the point of using this utility since JJ2+ now supports mp3 audio. Well, the difference is that you wouldn’t need to have the audio files on your PC, but that’s just about all. Nothing more.
You should also work on your English, I was annoyed when I opened the program and saw a message saying “The JJ2MP3 Server is offline or have some Problems, only YouTube Support Work”.
So, this program is completely useless. If you don’t have enough storage for MP3 files on your computer, you could just listen to some online radio. I guarantee it’d be better.
I’d also like to mention that there is a button within the program leading to a site where users can download Jazz Jackrabbit 2 free of charge which is illegal. There are such links in the readme file too. Please re upload your program without the links, thank you.
The facts that it’s useless, contains links to illegal content and the text’s written in Engrish mean you should not download this program. It’s junk. You still get 0.5 points for the effort.
*edit:*@djazz: I wasn’t talking about whether the server was online or not but about how poorly the message was written.
It doesn’t matter who put a link to a site where the game can be illegally obtained but the fact it’s there. You should remove it.
edit @Sfaizst: Oh yes, you are completely right. BlurredD must have stolen your idea! You should now press charges against him for doing that! And really, who even uses JJ2+? Most of its features already were in other programs that came out way before plus did. BlurredD is such a thief!
I’m also looking forward to your upload of JJU or whatever you call it. I’m sure there are more people using JJU than ones using a legal copy of the game.
Spaz18, name one reason why you shouldn’t be able to see IP addresses. They aren’t some secret private information, you know.
About the program, the only useful thing is the ability to see IP addresses. Since viewing the player list is not an implemented feature, I see no reason why I should use this program instead of JazzTool or some GIP script online.
That is a low quality level, with almost no playing value.
Eyecandy-it doesn’t really have eyecandy, everything is too plain. I think you should spend more time on your levels, this one was probably done in 15 minutes. It looks unfinished.
Gameplay-it’s hard to play in a level that has dead-ends, to win you can just camp at the seeker area, the level’s just too simple. It has 2-3 warps, several PUs which are all easy to camp at.
Should you download-No, you’ll most likely just lose your time.
Overall-I think a 2 suits it well.
I just wonder why is this necessary, editing the banlist and wordfilter list is fairly easy anyway.
Good things about it:
A simple interface
“How to use” and “FAQ” sections
Bad things:
You don’t really need a program to do something that’s so easy.
It doesn’t have many features. Basically, the only thing you can use it for is to add/delete words and IP addresses.
Summing up:Easy to use+help section+it’s not really needed+low functionality=not more than a 2.2
Download:No,why should you download a program when you can just use Notepad for the job?
