After asking Tim Sweeney from Epic Games on Twitter if we ever could see a release of a Jazz Jackrabbit title on Steam or GoG. He refered me to their community manager Stacey Conley (aka Flak). She replied “I just might have something up my sleeve. Stay tuned.”
I guess she has something in her sleeve and we should wait for it.

Let’s hope for the best. I’d buy a digital copy of these games just to support them.
Better yet, if a release happens then we’ll finally have an alternative to eBay, piracy, or ‘abandonware’ to point players to.
Stijn on 24 Oct 2017 at 22:29
Well, better late than never! Would be nice to finally have the games available somewhere again, and who knows, it might bring some new blood to this website as well.
Jazz J. on 26 Oct 2017 at 10:58
I think it might be an “Epic Games classic pack” where JJ is one of many other games of that time. Buying it anyway.
Ragnarok! on 27 Oct 2017 at 13:58
what on earth?! this is good news. staying tuned
Mike_1990 on 27 Oct 2017 at 21:58
She’d better be serious. I’m waiting for this for I don’t know how long.

Fingers crossed, hoping for the best

What the others said.
umisery on 3 Nov 2017 at 12:27
If this actually happens, I will most have a heart attack from excitement. Please let us finally get a digital release of JJ2 :D
pENDRAG on 11 Nov 2017 at 16:13
good idea
luke11685 on 12 Nov 2017 at 16:18
I hope Epic Games are 100% honest with us if not not we will lose their trust.
DJVee on 12 Nov 2017 at 18:03
If Jazz and Jazz 2 get on GOG, I’d be stoked! The scene would explode with new players. Or, at least, that’s the hope!
luke11685 on 12 Nov 2017 at 21:35
If Jazz 1 and 2 will be re-released as digital classic pc game maybe Epic can at least launch Jazz Jackrabbit 3 demo for PC Steam(I’m not sure do gog.com platform is launching pc demos),PS4and Xbox One(Xbox Live Arcade Marketplace)?I heard thanks to PC application called PSNOW on Windows 10 you can play sony playstation IPs’ on PC I mean console games via pc.
Scatterbrain Pete on 15 Nov 2017 at 08:25
I hope it will happen. Fingers crossed for
Jazz Jackrabbit CD + Holiday Hare ’95 (with an option to change the resolution so you can see more of what’s up ahead, like in OpenJazz)
and
Jazz Jackrabbit 2: The Secret Files (with Polish language support) + The Christmas Chronicles
on Steam and GOG.
That is all I wish for.
luke11685 on 15 Nov 2017 at 18:24
Is there a chance to see Jazz Jackrabbit Advance on nintendo switch any sooner as virtual console re-release too?I wish to see also Jazz Jackrabbit(2010)demo for free on Google Play android port someday.
MJongo on 16 Nov 2017 at 21:56
I’ve literally been visiting this site every other month or so for the past eight years in the hopes of seeing news of a digital re-release of Jazz 1 or 2. Don’t bring my hopes down!
luke11685 on 17 Nov 2017 at 09:45
I wish to see after pc digital re-editions like gog.com and pc steam also modern mobile devices official ports of Epic Games pc game classics including Jazz Jackrabbit series kind of like Sega did android port of their old ip sega mega drive classics.
Roobar on 23 Nov 2017 at 10:01
The fact that they’re keeping this as a secret from the Jaaz Jackrabbit community is appalling. This only intends something small is coming, like Steam or GOG release. I don’t have any expectations for this. Even if in the best possible scenario they announce a new Jazz game, I’m 100% sure it would not be what we really want a true sequel to be. I’m pretty sure it would be some 3D shte that would not have anything in commont except the Jazz name. Something like the recently released Bubsy at best.
Stijn on 23 Nov 2017 at 12:54
I don’t think anyone’s really expecting a sequel at this point? This seems to pretty obviously be about a re-release of the first two games (or one of them) on one of those online storefronts. Which may or may not be overdue, but is nice either way.
I’m not really seeing what there is to be as angry at as you are. It would be nice to have more info, but in the end it doesn’t really make a difference, and there’s probably little benefit for Epic in saying more before all details are worked out.
umisery on 24 Nov 2017 at 03:39
Has there been anymore news/info? It’s been a month since this was posted :(
Violet CLM on 24 Nov 2017 at 06:37
Have patience. This was just in response to Shadow randomly asking Tim out of the blue—there’s no reason to think anything will happen immediately.
luke11685 on 24 Nov 2017 at 17:03
Maybe Bubsy the Woolies Strikes Back isn’t that satisfying like Sonic the Hedgehog 4 episode 1, sonic the Hedgehog 4 episode 2,Little Big Planet and Bit Trip Runner are awesome games. Btw instead of new installment of jazz jackrabbit maybe Epic Games should make pc game exclusive like Super Smash Bros. series? Tim Sweeney as Epic Games CEO and co-founder Mark Rein have to think over this first to re-release digitally of jazz jackrabbit maybe more classics on pc steam and gog.com like Epic Pinball,Jill of the Jungle,One Must Fall 2097,Jazz Jackrabbit, Zoo of Zero Tolerance, Xargon. If jazz jackrabbit official pc steam and gog.com of dualogy classics gonna happen maybe someone from Epic Games will have time to reboot Jazz Jackrabbit 1 & 2 in 3D or 2d mode powered by Unreal engine 4 maybe then we see jazz jackrabbit on https://rainway.io thanks to this website Cuphead will be on Nintendo Switch if not at least jazz jackrabbit 1&2 will have your pc mods just like the newest pc mod for classic Doom with microtransactions and lootboxes https://www.destructoid.com/the-original-doom-but-with-loot-boxes-473956.phtml
Violet CLM on 24 Nov 2017 at 17:47
One Must Fall 2097, ZZT, and Xargon have all been released as freeware, so there’s not a lot of utility in rereleasing them on steam or gog.
luke11685 on 24 Nov 2017 at 23:37
Well I would like to see shareware re-release of Epic Games classics even if abandonware pc games classics are usually freeware. I wish someday thanks to you maybe Epic Games will be great again that’s one of Donald Trump’s quote words impressions. At least jazz jackrabbit pc steam and gog.come re-releases will be enough. Commander Keen should have re-releases of 7 installments on gog.com and pc steam, but at least there’s one commander keen pc game on steam so it’s still better than nothing. Btw re-released digital versions of jazz jackrabbit it will take a time like Nintendo re-localizing their classics like MOTHER/EarthBound outside Japan it’s just an example.
Stijn on 25 Nov 2017 at 01:24
There’s more than just one Keen game on Steam: http://store.steampowered.com/app/9180/Commander_Keen/
Roobar on 25 Nov 2017 at 05:34
If they make an expensive pay to win JJ game with loot boxes and paid DLC’s for different consoles, this will be a dream come true!!!
Jazz J. on 25 Nov 2017 at 08:37
Oh,no not the lootboxes. Wooden crates in JJ2 that you can’t smash/open without paying is not a good idea :P DLCs are okay if it’s new levels or episodes.
