End of bash

The last hour of the bash has begun. Make good use of it.

Update: The bash has ended now after three days of playing. Personally I found it to be less succesful than previous bashes, but we generally still had great time together. We didn’t have that much people returning temporarily this time as during the previous years, but we still had Shadow, Mezz, Everett, Dreama and some others showing up, which was rather fun.

I want to especially thank Nimrod and Spotty for hosting, FireSword and CelL for composing the packs, Overlord for giving us the neat console tool, Newspaz and Bobby for helping in kicking this off and all the people who helped admin and who have participated in the discussion in the private bash forum. Thanks!

How about sharing your bash experiences now in the Anniversary Bash VII topic on the JCF? The comments here are also fine. Somebody post some more screenies, too.

BASH DIED!!!!111!!!!11!12

Amazing how I kept CTOing off the server of Nimrod, who was GREATLY HURT by my connection keeping on crashing during a JJ2WC match.

FQuist on 11 Apr 2005 at 14:23

A connection crash is rather different during a tournament clanwar than during a regular jazz game. Most people managed to not CTO fine on the bash server, anyways. Nimrod went out of his way and spent a lot of time making you able to have fun at the bash. It’s a bit lame to have the first thing you say about that be an attack. Any reason of bringing such a negative topic?

cooba on 11 Apr 2005 at 14:30

Yes. Bash stopped =(((((((

FQuist on 11 Apr 2005 at 14:34

Yep, but it’s been hosted for three days, so..

spejsboi on 11 Apr 2005 at 16:21

I had more fun last year, but this one wasn’t that bad too.

Arti on 11 Apr 2005 at 17:26

Heh. I actually roasted 5+ people this time.

Is awfully proud

White Rabbit on 11 Apr 2005 at 17:51

Ahh..the bash was great. I especially enjoyed the CTF games, where ppl first switched to red in droves, leaving just 1-2 blues and then everyone switched back leaving…me. ;) Frank also hosted an unofficial bash in Bay of Diamonds where I had a chance to blow some DMers up, which I wasn’t able to do much in my last clanwar, hehe. :)

FQuist on 11 Apr 2005 at 17:57

It was an official bash (me hosting an unofficial bash?? Why would I?). And I found that Bay of Diamonds game with you, Velk and others one of the best games yesterday. It was quite hard and everybody played well.

White Rabbit on 11 Apr 2005 at 18:10

ASJKDDD ASJDAJKADAAS ASKASHKDASHK, etc. So Everett was Velk? She is really, really tricky. :D I didn’t realize you hosted the real thing because I thought Nimrod’s server was still on. Of course, I wouldn’t know because I was busy playing and didn’t want to waste time and look. :) It was hard, yes. You had all the DM members while we got some pie, poison and pale colours. ;-)

Odin314 on 11 Apr 2005 at 19:13

I was on point.

I found the bash to be a good success, although the last one WAS better since we didn’t have all these idiots back then. But still.

Ñîçk ÐR on 11 Apr 2005 at 19:40

This is the first Bash I actually got to play. Was on vacation for AB6. AB5 I played for about 5min. Was inactive for AB4. Was around for a little while for AB3. And I dont remember there being AB1 or 2.

Olsen on 11 Apr 2005 at 19:44

Good bash. Extremly good for me since I could for some reason join games again when the bash started.

White Rabbit on 11 Apr 2005 at 21:19

Idiots? ;P

spejsboi on 12 Apr 2005 at 19:10

“We didn’t have that much people returning temporarily this time as during the previous years, but we still had Shadow, Mezz, Everett, Dreama and some others showing up, which was rather fun.”

Do you actually thank those people for doing us a favor and playing JJ2 for couple of minutes? They left the game and they don’t deserve anything but DYING. :P

FQuist on 12 Apr 2005 at 19:39

What? Nowhere did I thank them/tell anyone to thank them, although we should thank everyone who has played and thus help in making this a fun bash.

Not everyone keeps actively playing the same game for so many years. It’s actually amazing some people actually still occasionally play after seven years.

does the winged life destroy,
But he who kisses the joy as it flies;
lives in eternity’s sun rise.

That was beautiful WR! sniff

White Rabbit on 13 Apr 2005 at 17:24

(Btw, it’s not by me). :-)

BeckY on 17 Apr 2005 at 01:58

Was’t exactly festive this year, actually..but it was kinda fun. People preferred to go play on hotel levels than the bash party, so..whatever.

Electric Ir on 17 Apr 2005 at 15:07

This was the first bash I didn’t attend. I don’t know, I’ve been busy. Hope you people had fun though.

FQuist on 17 Apr 2005 at 22:55

Yeah, I noticed your absence, Electric.

tazar on 18 Apr 2005 at 17:38

I was returned for few days, playing on bash server, and it was great! =)
I’d like to say thank you for the guys, who made the servers, it was great. ;)

defalcon on 19 Apr 2005 at 10:03

Unfortunately I was too busy to attend…plus my Jazz 2 cd is in another city so even if I were free it would have prooved difficult. Sounds like it went alight tho.

Crusader on 21 Apr 2005 at 00:19

wat in gods name was the bash?????? LOL i killed it by hosting mt hotel. XD

DanYjel on 30 Apr 2005 at 21:50

Something wrong, when I have most roasts from all, when noobs aren’t playing… There’s not so much of fun when almost nobody is active.
